About 2 months ago I booked my room for Pop Century for Jan 2011. Now granted the CM mentioned that prices will not be announced until August (Which is pretty common from what I have seen) So right now they have my room at a high price and I paid for the first night..My question is this...

When they release the 2011 prices will my room price go down as well?

Your room rate should go up not down. The rate will only go down if they offer a special promotion during the period you are planning on visiting. You will have to call and have that promotion applied to your reservation should one be offered during that time frame.

I think wdwfan22 mis-understood the OP's question...

Room-Only reservations can be made by phone beyond the currently-published room rates & dates. (I believe it's 499 days in advance, so you would currently be able to book a room-only reservation through sometime in Sept 2011)
When you make a reservation beyond the currently-available pricing, you'll be given a price quote that will be based on this year's rates. (I think they give you either Peak or Holiday Season pricing for this year)

So as long as you're not in Peak/Holiday season in 2011 (in which case there's the possibility that you could owe more of a deposit), your hotel rate will be adjusted accordingly when hotel prices are finalized for 2011. You should also get a new invoice/confirmation showing the actual room rates. They won't issue you a refund of your now-larger-than-necessary deposit, but it will all go toward the final-due price.

Now, this new rate will be the Rack Rate for 2011. If any additional special offers come along for your dates/hotel/room-category, you'll have to call back and have them adjust your rate (which I think was what wdwfan22 thought you were asking).
