2009 Main Gate pass. When do we get them??

Hey, Im seasonal and live in WA state. I work at WDW from time to time, but I wont be able to pick up my 2009 maingate this year. I received my other things in the mail (2009 sticker, family holiday celebration, summer tickets etc) but I was wondering if any of you guys received it yet or had any ideas when because Im going to be in Souther Cali next month and it be handy to have it.

You won't get it until about two weeks after you've worked your first shift in 2009 :wave:

I thought we would get them this month in the mail. I know that if your in Orlando, you can pick it up in Celebration Florida. I even know some friends during the cp who picked thiers up before they left in December and didnt even go seasonal like me, and they were able to use them.

how many hours do you have to work if you're seasonal to get the maingate pass? i worked almost 40 hours in the summer and never recieved one, tho i got the holiday celebrations book and a 2009 sticker for my red id.

Neither did I. Im sure If I went over to celebration they would of given me one. I did call WDW Employee Services and they told me that If I received my holiday celebration in the mail, then the 2009 main gate would be coming in the mail too. She also said she hadn't received hers yet so it should be this month.

Does any one have any experiences with these? Any one get it in the mail last time?

A "normal" Maingate???

Usually 2nd half of December...

Don't know much about seasonal workers...

Well seasonal maingates are the same, just we only get 6 admissions instead of 12

I actually just sent a e-mail to the people that handle the maingates asking this same question. The person that responded to me said that you had to work either in November or December to be eligible to get your 2009 maingate and that it would be sent in January.

Bud, I'm seasonal. And have been since 2006. You have to work first, before they'll give you a maingate. You really think they're going to give you a maingate in January, let you use it all year, and then come December you decide you're not going to go work and just drop status? They're not that stupid.

They will send your maingate (or it will be available for you to pick up) about a week or two weeks after you work your first shift for the year.

nope, but you could have received a maingate for 2008 from August - Dec. The year runs from Jan to Dec, not from when you worked. So the best thing would be to get on a schedule where you go work in Januarys, so that you can get your maingate at the beginning of each year.
