It is going to be interesting to see how much the crowds are going to be affected by the economy next year....i know it is up in the air for us if we are going to go or not....maybe all the cut backs they are making kinda make sence now with the economy in the trash

It'd be nice for us if there are lighter crowds the 2nd week of May!!!! We've been saving up for a while for this trip, so we're not putting it off again!! (We were supposed to go this December, but had conflicts with work)

From what I hear the DRC is next to a ghost town right now and has been for a good while now. Expect Disney to offer some post 9/11 deals in the not so distant future.

It has to hurt attendance. When we went in April there were a lot of Europeans (England, mostly) because of the exchange rate. Now with the economic crisis affecting the whole world, I would think even foreigners may rethink a trip to WDW.:dazzle:

I spoke with a travel agent this week. She had mentioned that at least 8 people have canceled their trips for next year to Disney World. She said you get a few but 8 people in 2 weeks was very high.
