My wife and I are looking to take a trip WDW in the fall of next year. We are wanting to go full out and stay at the Contemporary, GF, and possibly the AKL. Does any one know what the Spa treatments are like and are they limited one per trip. I see conflicting info all over the place and don't what is correct. I 'm guessing the just renamed the packages this year, but I still have never went one of the things at onsite resort and my wife was looking foward to multiple spa treatments. Also how the prepaid meals work for the "over 125" restuarants ? Are these places in the parks as well ? Is there a limit on what you may order ? The brocheures do not explain this well at all and the travel agent didn't know. Please help !! We are looking at the Gold or Platinum packages and probably stay a week. Any suggestions, like is Concierge really worth it ??

We used the packages last Nov. what used to be called Discovery Magic and my parents did the Deluxe Magic. We got 2 wishes a day per person in our party, which we used for our meals. My parents got 3 meals a day. We were able to use these meals at all of the restaurants in the parks and resorts, except Victoria & Alberts and Citricos. Also the restaurants in Downtown Disney do not all participate.

The meals included an appetizer, soup or salad, entree, dessert, cold drink and also coffee. This was for both the adults and the kids. Needless to say, we very often did not eat all we could have. The tip is also included in the cost so unless you feel the need to tip additionally it is already handled.

When you check in and get your card that serves as your door key and park pass, that same card represents your meal ticket. At the end of your meal you give it to the server and they bring you a receipt like a credit card. This receipt will also tell you how many meal vouchers you have left. That way you can keep track.

We really enjoyed using this system and are planning on doing it again next November.

We, too, use the inclusive pckages. The spa treatments allowed on the plan at the Grand Floridian are very limited. The Disney Institute offers a better selection. The Grand Floridian Spa is first class and has many treatments available, but like I said, the most popular ones are not inclusive on the plans. I've visited many spas and Grand Floridian is as nice as any of them.
