I am surprised Epcot didnt make the best landscaping thing. Wouldnt that include all their beautiful gardens and stuff?

How did the Haunted Mansion get 2 spots for dark ride?? (Mabey one was at DL and the other at MK?)

(And finally..) Regarding the best background music, that is buck wild crazy. I will have to seriously keep my ears open when I go to DCA, and I'd better hear something to blow Epcot's background music away, or that nomination is just ca-razy.

There is a "Haunted Mansion" at Knobels Amusement Park, I should have clarified that.

Whoever counted votes for DCA's background music must have a thing for classic rock, because (other than the Soarin soundtrack) that is all DCA has from what I remember seeing on their track listings (of course, most of these songs are about California). Gee, that's just like the background music at Six Flags...

>>>I'd better hear something to blow Epcot's background music away<<<

Yep, that's about the only thing that the "new" Epcot has gotten right.

>>>I disagree with a lot of those, especially "Friendliest Park Staff"
Where's the Disney parks? Jeez...<<<

I never paid attention to Cedar Fair's staff all that much (although I remember them blowing Six Flags away), but I do know that Knobels and Holiday World are ran by independent companies (in one case a family) that are dedicated to providing the best experience for their patrons they can at an excellent value (like Walt Disney did). They have a lot of pride in their parks, and that pride is carried on from the top down.

Oh yeah, I just read that Holiday World has been shattering attendance records this year one weekend after the next. This past Saturday they had over 16,500 guests, which is higher than the average Saturday during the "busy season" at DCA. Maybe the word is spreading about that "little park in the middle of nowhere that has great wooden coasters and gives away free Pepsi and sunscreen."

Who was it that said, "Quality will never win out in today's theme park business?"

How in the hell did DCA get #2??!?!?!?!!? If I hear another Beach Boys song, I'll start throwing rocks at the speakers (I know where you little bee-atches are, and I know how to hurt you... :drevil: )
