2000 WDW Light-Up Pin

When our family went to WDW back in 2000, we bought special pins that had the sorcerer's hat and the words 100 years of magic. At certain attractions, the pin would light up. Does anyone know if the pins would still work? Thanks!:sohappy:

I have one of these pins to but i forgot it actually did that! and i never brought it back! i wonder if it would still work to! :wave:

This would be neat if does and same goes for Pal Mickey...It's a shame they never updated him for the longest time.

I think most of that infrastructure is still there. The infra-red emitters are still used for the Ears to the World translator and the Guests with Disabilities Device.

I put new batteries in my pin and brought it back last month (May 2012). It still worked on some of the attractions - POTC (when you go down the hill) and TOT (in the drop shaft).
