$200 4/3 gift card question

Forgive me if this has been asked already but I got my vacation packet yesterday and I see the $200 gift card on my order but do you not get the actual gift card until you check in?

That is correct. The gift card will be provided at check-in.

On a MYW package, the same is true for your theme park tickets.

This helps to avoid the mess that would occur if someone received their document package and then were to cancel their trip - they would have to be sure to return the tickets and the gift card......

For lack of a better way to explain, your tickets are your room key/card. You get them when you check in and you feed them into the ticket reader upon entering the gates.

What I meant to say was, if the gift card and your tickets were sent to you in the mail, it would make for a real mess upon cancellation.

As it is now, these items are given to you at checkin.
