What are your top 20 favorite traditionally animated Disney movie scenes of All-time? and why?

Here's mine:

(20) Kenai's Transformation - From Brother Bear, the aniamtion in this sequence in which Kenai turns into a bear is just breathtaking.

(19) Once Upon A Dream - This whole sequence where Aurora meets Philip for the first time is just absoluteley romantic especially with the background choir singing as they dance through the forest.

(18) Stitch kidnaps Lilo and bikes his way across the island In search of a Big City - "It's nice to live on an island without any big cities"

(17) Timon's Hula - This scene is just really really hilarious with Timon dancing and Pumbaa on a plate.

(16) Two Worlds, One Family - The opening sequence from Tarzan was fast and heart-tugging, one of the most powerful openings in the Disney canon.

(15) Robin Hood and Little John walking through the Forest......in drag - This really hilarious scene where Robin and Little John pose as Fortune tellers to rob Prince John is just priceless.

(14) Scuttle and all the aniamls in the coastline crash Vanessa's Wedding - This whole sequence is just so entertaining, I wish it were longer.

(13) Tarzan, the Tree Surfer - Tarzan may not be up to par with the great classics story-wise, but in terms of animation, it is a jewel to behold and this scene is more than enough to prove it.

(12) Chef Louie v.s. Sebastian - This hilarious scene set to a famous French music gets me everytime and never fails to make me make a fool of myself for laughing so hard.

(11) Cinderella's Magical New dress - In one word, this scene is just magical!

(10) No More Caffeine for You (Stitch) - This funny scene just shows how sassy this picture is.

(9) The Circle of Life - The greatest opening of the entire Disney animated arsenal, no other opening in the history of cinema can live up to the intensity and magic of this scene.

(8) Pocahontas says goodbye - The emotional last scene from the movie is intensified by the great music behind it.

(7) Mufasa's Ghost - This goosebump inducing, tear jerking scene from the #1 traditionally animated movie of all time proves why it is what it is.

(6) Ariel Becomes Human...Again - Ariel rising out of the water in the sparkling dress is just absolutely magical.

(5) Marahute and Cody Soarin' over the Outback - This exhilirating scene is one of the few gems to come out of the Disney dark ages. The music and the visuals work hand in hand to create a feeling of flight that even the audience could feel.

(4) Part of "Your" World - The Little Mermaid's money shot. The intricate aniamtion of Ariel's hair and the light effects just give a soothing sense of emotions that further proves why this movie became an instant classic.

(3) Mulan's Decision - This amazing scene is just animation at its finest rousing up the feelings and intensity of the scene with the powerful score accompanying it.

(2) Part of "That" World - This scene is enough to understand why Ariel still wants to be above even after Sebastian's "Under the Sea". The way Ariel moves around in this scene is just pure magic.

(1) "Beauty and the Beast" - The heart and center of Beauty adn the Beast, the ballroom scene is one of pure romance and wonder with amazing camera shots and heart warming music, even more reason to add why Beauty and the Beast one of the greatest animated features of all time.

Suprisingly I agree with most of the scenes you've mentioned. I would replace though number 5 and 10. Number 10 in my opinion, should be the part where Kenai tells Koda the truth. It gets me every time.

Number 5 for me would be the opening scene of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. From breathtaking music and animation to a spine chilling story this scene is just too strong to forget.

Oh yeah kenai's revelation was just so well done.

Hunchback's opening was very eerie and dark I love it. The Belle's of Notre Damme song was perfect for it.

I also loved that part in Hunchback where one of the gargoyles parodied The Wizard of Oz's Wicked Witch, one of my favorite scenes in the film, I forgot to put it up there.
