Can anyone give me any suggestions as to which villa, area, floor to request at BLT? We will be staying for 5 nights in April-May in a 2 bedroom villa and I now nothing about convenience, location etc. We have stayed at the CR multiple times but this will be our first as DVC owners. Thanks!
It really depends on what you're hoping to have as a "view" from your room. There are some lake view rooms on the north end that have a view of the Magic Kingdom towards your left. The rooms on the south end view the marina and the Contemporary (and the fireworks at the Studios and Epcot as well as the Electrical Water Pageant on Bay Lake).
The rooms on the 5th floor are on the same floor as the Skyway Bridge that connects you to the Contemporary. That's convenient if you don't want to deal with the elevators (which have never been a problem for us). The bridge is closer to the south end. You will walk a bit to your room if it's in the north end. That's also the end you'll walk out near when you just take the BLT elevator down to catch the bus.
They will note your requests, but remember that they are only requests.
