Hi there, We have a Bank One Disney Visa and have been working it to max lately since we are adding on to our house and putting all the trips to Home Depot on it. (and paying it off right away.)

We have been told a number of times that we get 2% back each month on everything OVER 2300. They have given this to us (a month behind) once (100 extra points) but acording to our calucation they still owe us over 150 points they haven't given us (for a few months back.) like I said we are doing home improvments, this is NOT normal spending for us :lookaroun .

Anyway, anyone else having these problems of not getting your extra points? Should I call and ask about it? I called last month but the nice guy on the phone didn't really seem to know much abou it. I got another post card in the mail today and it said again every month for 1 year, the most you could get was 100 a month, but it didn't have a cap other then that.

Yes, we had an error with our points as well.

When we called to redeem and got our credit in the mail, we were missing the 25 initial points given to sign up. We called up and the person was not sure what we were referring to. Then, when we spoke to someone who gave us the points, instead of giiving us the money on our next redemption point (to be used at WDW) she gave us a $25 credit to the account. Well, we did not want that, but she persisted saying 25 dollars is 25 dollars no matter what it pays off.

So just check your statements and make sure you are getting what you pay off--or were intially given!!

I don't have the Disney Visa card, so I don't know about that. I do know that after making some improvements to my house last year, I will no longer deal with Home Despot. Too many problems, including materials being shipped to an address not even close to mine, a couple of towns away, and not having the full shipment arrive when it did finally come.

I'm noticing the same thing. I did learn it is calendar month, which is a little confusing because it covers two billing cycles.

However, I did not get my extra 1% over my required spending last month.

I was going to call them tommorrow. I really hate having to chase them around, it's not Disney like.

That is saddly too true in our case also. You know the "You can do it, we can help." We are getting it done, dispite their help, not because of it. Same issues, some even worse. Anything we can get somewhere else now we are (sadly Lowes is 10 miles farther away from our home.) We bought a shower on cleareance, and they sold it to someone else before shipping it to us. One lady told me I flat out couldn't get a bathroom vanity sink I wanted that the manufactor still made, and I had to call the manufactor myself and find a HD that did carry it and go get it. She could of done that herself, instead of me calling all over (we drove 30 miles to get it, but I didn't mind that much.)

Back to Visa, we got the extra points for July in Sept, but they still owe us for Aug and Oct (thank God Sept we didn't spend that much!) Hubby looked on line and they credited us 12 points, but we have about 160 coming. :brick:

I agree Computer Magic, I hate hunting this down too.

This has nothing to do with the Visa. However.. if you guys have any smaller, independent lumber yards in your area, why not try them instead of Home Depot or Lowes. My family owns a lumber yard / hardware store, so I know how small businesses appreciate your business and do take the time to make sure things are taken to the right place, are put where you ask, etc. :)

We thought of that later, but all our wood is already bought and used for the most part. However the only people we have hired out are local places that have done volunteer work for our church camp and we like to support them. I do feel that they (smaller places) care more about your bussness and helping you. I have often felt HD doesn't give a darn.

I know a women who I just meet that owns a floor covering store so I am going to use them for all the floors. That is the next big chunk of stuff to put on the good old Disney Visa.
