1st week of december crowded or system problems?

Hi all,

I'm trying to book a magic your way package from dec 4 to dec 9, and most of the resorts have no available rooms for 2 adults and 2 children. The only ones available i think its the coronado springs and other deluxe one. It's the first time that i'm having those results so my question is... Is it really crowded and almost all the resorts are full for those days?... Or the system has problems, manteinance, etc?... If i try in a couple of days, is it possible to get more options available?

Thanks in advance!

Disney is taping the Christmas parade on December 6th and 7th with the make up day on the 8th I suspect this is a crowd issue. A lot of people come to watch the taping and others are performing in the parade.

Pop Warner football and cheer December 7-14 which is later this year. I can't remember the name it is a bunch of letters, but the group is middle aged to older fans that go to Disney this week and some lifestyler type groups hosting events in early December, the aftermath of Mousefest that wasn't Disney sponsored, which ended with D23.

Depending on what you are use to I've stayed at CS and aside from the food, it is a pretty resort, I stayed there in 2012 for the first time under the same type of circumstances and was pleasantly surprised, again, minus the food.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
1st week and second week of December is very popular but the parks are never that crowded. We go this time every trip just like this year. To get exactly where you want to stay etc you usually have to book as early as possible. It's popular b/c of Christmas activities, lower crowds, and nicer weather, and cheaper prices on rooms etc. It's our fave time to go all year! :)
