Long time lurker, 1st time reporter. I wanted to try and do a trip report for the first time so bare with me. I decided to use this thread to explain the who, what, where, when and why of the trip.
The Who: The Lown Family (Myself, Wife and Daughter who is 2 1/2 years old)
Where: Disney World! Staying in Altamonte Springs, Fl.
When: Flying out of Buffalo, November 19th- November 27th
Why: My brother, his wife and my niece all moved to Altamonte Springs this April. This will be the first time visiting them and we plan to go to the Disney parks together. This will be my daughters 2nd time to Disney World. My wife and I have gone around 7 or 8 times now.
What (Basically the plan when we get there):
November 19th: Arrive in Orlando around 9PM, not doing anything but getting to my brothers place and getting ready for the next day.
November 20th: Drop my brother off at work in the morning and head to Epcot. We plan on bringing a packed lunch with us everyday (My wife has Celiac disease and will be much easier for her and cheaper for us than buying lunch at the parks). Later in the afternoon, pick up my brother from work and head back to their place for dinner then head back to Epcot with all them to grab a drink and watch Illuminations.
November 21st: Magic Kingdom all day. Packed lunch, Counter service for dinner. If anyone has any good suggestions for gluten free counter service meals at Magic Kingdom that would be greatly appreciated.
November 22nd: Rest day. Maybe go to the beach or one of the state parks. We plan on going mini-golfing later and go to beaches and cream for dessert.
November 23rd: Hollywood Studios. Will probably leave for dinner and come back to check out Osborne Lights and Fantasmic if there is still time.
November 24th: Animal Kingdom in AM, Epcot in PM. Again, packed lunch, leave for dinner.
November 25th: SeaWorld day, I have a feeling my daughter is going to really love it, thanks to watching the Octonauts. Can't bring food into the park so I have no idea what we will do for lunch. My brother and I are planning to go to an Orlando Magic game that night.
November 26th: Magic Kingdom for Thanksgiving. We have a reservation for Boma's for lunch/dinner. We plan on it being very busy that day at the park.
November 27th: Head home. Boooo!!!
