It's finally OFFICIAL. In 24 days we will be taking out WDW trip!! Even though I've been planning this trip for, oh i don't know, 8 months we weren't sure if we were going to be able to take the trip until yesterday. While i had all my reservations ready to go, but trying really hard not to get too excited about them. My DH just got a new great job, but since he is still techinically on probation he was't sure he'd get the time off. Well, HE DID!! To celebrate, I'm making it official & writing up my pre-trip report.
OUR CAST
Me - super mom & the resident Disney Super Freak. I've been to WDW as a baby, kid, tween, teen, young adult and NOW a MOM
DH - I dragged him to WDW once & while he enjoyed himself, he's made it clear that we are NOT going every year....ok ok
DD - THE FACE. 2 1/2 going on 12. I've made sure I passed down the DIsney Freak Gene to her. Loves all things princess, but has a solid knowledge of all the disney characters. I'm pretty sure she doesn't fully understand exactly WHAT WDW is - but you mention it's name and she lights up!
DS - FATBOY - 16 Months and all BOY. Dirty Messy mischevious TROUBLE!!
But - stick a turkey leg in front of him & he'll be happy. Because of his sister, all princesses are "aurora" ! Plus he recognizes and goes nuts over Mickey Mouse!
MIMA - my mother. The Kiddo's MIMA. Usually a planner, she's passed the torch to me & couldn't be happier in doing so.
PAPA BEAR - My Dad. He's a big Goofy himself. He'll be sharing that Turkey Leg with FatBoy
Aunt Kriphen (kristen for those without a 2yo's lisp) The bestest sister a gal can have. NYC hipster, vegetarian & Fairy Godmother to the kids... holy moly is she going to spoil them! She will be arriving 2 days into the trip.
REASON FOR CELEBRATION - like we need a reason at WDW?!?
Well- It's the Kiddo's FIRST TRIP!! Plus DH and I will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. AND Aunt Kriphen will be celebrating her birthday while we are there! Lot's of pins!
