hi you guys. how realistic is this plan?

PrincessHall (fast pass) 20 minute wait with fast pass

(get here at 9:15 and probably be out of here by 9:30)

Peterpan’s flight no fast pass probably a 20 minute wait by the time we get there

(may not be able to ride until 10:00, be done around 10:15)

small world probably 15 minute wait

(ride around 10:30 be done around 10:45)

(kids would probably be hungry already after this) break time

belle’s story time 15 minute wait (probably get here around 11:05 and probably wont get done at this attraction unttil 11:30) (head back and do the regal carrousel only 5 minute wait and right behind the castle then go to lunch at CRT)

Last week Peter Pan had a standby wait of 50 minutes at 9:30 a.m. And Enchanted Tales with Belle always has at least a 30 minute standby wait.

People are flocking to see the new interactive queue. We tried several times over 2 days and the wait was never below 50 minutes. We used a FP instead.

Well that stinks...haha since we only have 3 fast pass I really wanted to save the last one for the electrical parade .

Thanks everyone. I will start making some changes. Since we haven't been there at all, I'm really just guessing what the wait would be like. And I will not fast pass the electrical parade if it's not a good location. It's just important that on the first day we do Fantasyland first.

No problem! If you have more questions or wait time issues, post it. I love answering those, touring plans are my favorite.
Thanks again. Here's another question for you. Do you know what the wait times are like around 6pm or 7 pm for the Jungle cruise, Pirates of the caribbean, and magic carpet ride? The first day that we get there I know we will miss the FOF parade that starts at 3 because I'm sure if we're going to do rope drop my kids are going to be beat by then.

Depending on the day at least half an hour for pirates and jungle cruise and twenty for magic carpets.

I would do your best to make it through to FOF. It's amazing.
i will make options to see it on the first day, and see how it goes. If it seems like my little ones are still energetic around 2 then we'll stick around for it but if they seem like they are ready to hit the bed then I will schedule it for the last day of our vacation. =D Where would be the best spot for it that has a shaded area?

I never make any FP+ reservations for the first hour and half after park opening. That's when lines are the shortest, so we are in standby lines for things. Based on your comments here, I'd say (assuming you get in at rope drop) go to Peter Pan first, then Winnie the Pooh (it gets a longer line than you'd think) and maybe Dumbo. I feel pretty confident you could hit all three in the first hour (we usually go in mid-summer or Spring Break and can manage those three). Then I'd have that first FP+ for Princess Hall.

I'd also recommend getting two more FP+ for 11am and 12pm. Maybe use one for Belle and one for Little Mermaid? Once you've used those three, you can book another FP+ on your way out of the park to get the kids back to their room for naptime!

Not sure of your other priorities, but we have found that with littler ones, getting out at 12:30pm is ideal (lunch back in room) and then getting back to MK just before 3pm for the parade works well. The kids will have gotten an hour plus nap and sitting for the parade is just the thing to get them back in the mood. Our ideal seats are right in front of the barber shop (across from the fire station). Not shaded, but not crowded (for any parade) and easy to get to if you run in right at parade time. Then some touring and a long/relaxed dinner followed by Hall of Presidents (aka little additional naptime for the kiddos). Gets everybody recharged for night parade and fireworks.

I wouldn't mind that either, but we have a reservation at CRT at 11:55 and by the time we're done it'll probably one or so. Since it's our first time there I'm not sure how tired they will be. My little boy (2) usually wakes up around 7 and probably would need a nap by 1, and my little girl (5) she can go most days without napping, but since we'll be in the sun I'm not sure how it would work out.

Our daughter stopped napping at home when she was 4. She is 11 now and still naps most days at Disney. The energy expenditure of 5 hours in the park and southern sun is enough to make anyone want a nap! It will likely be closer to 1:30 - or even later - by the time you get out of CRT. Maybe save viewing the daytime parade for another day at Magic Kingdom (assuming you have a second day at MK) when you can get that early nap.

Since your touring is going to be done by noon, I'd say get the FP+ for 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30am so you can use all three before lunch - remember you can wait to use that first FP+ until 10:35am (they allow you to be a little late for your window) and do a bunch of things standby before hitting it. Plan on that nap after CRT and book your 'extra' FP+ for the evening some time. If your daughter does a cat nap (like ours sometimes does) take her out to the pool (hoping your resort has a pool) while your son finished his down time.

I'd recommend hitting the safari earlier in the day - the animals are far more active before the heat of the sun. Obviously Dug and Russell are a pretty high priority, so I'd do them first and then and pocahontas (if she is out available) and the tree of life. Then head back to the Safari (with an FP+ for 9:30am??). AK gets hotter than the other parks, so I'd recommend doing Festival of the Lion King after that to get the kids cooled off - and also it is a GREAT show. Then head to Dinoland (maybe stop to visit Mickey on the way) to do Bone Yard playtime, Triceratops Spin, followed by Nemo (another GREAT show). Not sure what your meal plans are, but the Tusker House Breakfast Safari with Donald (and friends) is a good way to meet lots of characters and you can get a later seating (close to 11am) so you might be able to do Safari and Lion King before going there for a 'breakfast for early lunch.' Make sure to get to Nemo and Lion King a good 30 minutes before show time (even with FP+) so you get decent seats.

One Little Spark...
You'll want to stop by Guest Relations to get the Meet and Greet times through the day if the Meet and Greets are that important.

And, I agree, Hit the Safari first (and FP it)

Thanks again everyone, I'll start adjusting my plans. =D And brifraz, we will have a 2nd day at MK but it will be our last day. After 5 or so we will leave the park and will be heading home, so I will definitely be trying to see if I can get the parade in. I may even have the kids sleep in late that day and skip rope drop so they won't be so tired.

That sounds like a very good idea for your second day at MK. Everybody sleep in a bit. Your son can also sleep in the stroller - bring a blanket to lie on (our daughter did that very often). Get some good FP+ for that day and enjoy your trip!!
