19 injured on El Toro at SF Great Adventure in NJ

19 riders were injured Thursday night while riding El Toro, the large wooden roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ… of the 19, 5 were taken to area hospitals with back and mouth and tongue injuries…riders and witnesses said it sounded and felt like they hit a very big pothole…
For everyone who thinks Space Mountain beats them up…

Curious if we'll find out what happened. A coaster suddenly developing an extremely jarring bump is not something that just happens.

Just an update for fans…El Toro is currently going through riderless testing, awaiting final state inspection and approval. No precise opening date has been announced, but SF does plan on opening the ride this summer if all approvals are granted.
