Got my alarm set for 5:55am! Getting the DDP and only staying 4 nights, so only getting 4 ADR's. Just my DH and I. Here's what we're thinking:
BOG - never been yet, so want to do it at least once
Crystal Palace - early breakfast, mainly to get into MK before park opening - love that!!
Raglan Road - DH is Irish . . . 'nuf said.
O'Hana - never been.

Some of our favs that didn't make the list:
LeCellier - LOVE it, but just not worth the 2 dining credits
Rose and Crown - can get Fish 'n Chips and English Bulldogs in the pub
Biergarten - seen the show, and can get Brats, pretzels, and apple strudel at Sommerfest.

Just feel like I need to ask if I'm missing anything special, or making a big mistake!! o_O

We love crystal palace but always seem to make the mistake of booking it on the morning of EMH.

I LOVED Raglan Road but the rest of my family didnt like it at all.

Dying to try Ohana....soon.

Looks like great choices to me. have fun!!

Nice choices! We just went to Be Our Guest, and really liked everything about it! Crystal Palace as a breakfast before the parks opens is one of my favorite things too. You get some nice Main Street pictures. 'Ohana is a must do for us, another favorite! I've never been to Raglan Road but have heard some great things. I don't think you made any mistakes. :)

Have backups ready for Ohana & BOG. I did my 180+10's this morning. Was on the computer right at 6 AM ET and both those showed already booked for dinner on the dates that I searched (just checked for heck of it as people always say that those two are booked immediately). Not the end of the world for me as we had other preferences for dining this trip.

Thanks for the heads up. It baffles my mind how things can fill up so fast. Hmmmm . . . back up for O'Hana may be Kona Cafe, since I've heard really great reviews on their dinners (been there for their Tonga Toast - YUM!). Not sure about a back up for BOG as I was planning to do an early dinner there before MVMCP. Don't really want to leave the MK area on that evening.

Love the choices! We've done everything, but Raglan ... still on the fence about swapping out something we have right now to try it.

As for BoG and 'Ohana...I think you'll be fine with 'Ohana. Not saying it's not a hard to get ADR, but I booked a party of 9 within 10 min of my desired time a couple of months ago. Surely, a party of 2 has got to be easier. As for BoG...also managed that on day 180, but it can be tough. Don't know why, but sometimes searching for a slightly larger party size can open up more options...so you might want to search for a 3 top or larger if nothing comes up for 2 (but again, 2 usually has the most openings).

Not sure how well the new site has been functioning, but you may also want to try clearing out browsers and going through this link http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/en_GB/ ...ultimately, it looks and acts like the old site. So, while still glitchy, not nearly as buggy as the new site.

Yes, definitely have backups! Our 180 was on Tuesday. We had two phones going & the laptop. Got everything we wanted except BOG!:( We were on hold for 45 minutes before CM came on to tell me that nothing was available on either of our MK days! Guess we'll try lunch, if the lines are not too terribly long.

Given that early Dec is a year from when it opened and technically an "offseason time" (not that exists very much any more), and the fact that folks don't rave much about the food, I amazed that BOG still is getting booked solid for dinner at 180 days out.

Well, I made a mistake . . . TODAY is 181 days out! We are checking in on the 6th, but because we are getting in after 10pm, we are staying one night at ASMusic to save on costs (room only reservation). The next morning, we are checking into the Contemporary, which is when our dining plan begins. So, I'll have to get up early again tomorrow!! Anyhoo, I tried to book BOG on the 6th just to see if there was anything available, and at 6:01am there was NOTHING!!!! I'll give it a try anyway, and I'll keep trying until we get there - people are always cancelling. But, I'm for sure going to need a back up.

So . . . best dinner in the MK area (including resorts)??????

In my opinion O'hana is the best dinner but, we're trying some new places this time. So, we'll see it might change!:)

'Ohana has alway's been good, Grand Floridian Care is good as well, you can always check the menu's at allears.net, considering the time of year you could always try Liberty Tree, we get enough Thanksgiving type meals around the holiday we've never done LT for dinner. We've had lunch at BOG and the pork dish was wonderful, the sandwiches were not, have not done dinner there. We don't like CP at all! RR is a family favorite! Sounds like you've scored the things you most want, HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME!

Well, got up early this morning and was on the Disney website at 5:58am, ready to go. I got an 8:50am ADR at CP, so I'll get to enter MK just before everyone else! I got Raglan Rd - that's an easy one. The was only 1 dinner opening at O'Hana for our entire stay, but its for 6:35pm on the night we have tickets for MVMCP. I grabbed it anyway - I think it may be ok, since we like to go to the later parade. NOTHING was available for BOG during our entire stay, and that was the first ADR I tried to make. Oh well, guess we'll stand in line for lunch. Does anyone know if they are offering FP+ for lunch? I thought that I had read about that somewhere on these boards.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Just a little tid bit....it is never too late to change something if you change your mind later. I always make ressies at 180 day mark but by the time we go and even sometimes while there change up places and times as needed and available. The only ones you would have a prob with are the really popular places, and even then I have gotten a hard to get ressie while there or changed days at a popular hard to get restaurant. Don't feel stuck after your 180 day mark. :)
