Ok.. so I save everything from our trips, and as I was trawling through the file with 2000 trip to WDW I found (2) 4 day park hopper pass we purchased in 1994 with one day left on them. My belief is that they are still valid. Is this correct????

BTW face value for four days of hopping was $134.00

Those were the days.

Yeah, I've done this a ton. Still have lots of old tickets, comp tickets, etc. They exchange them right at the ticket windows. Beware, you can't 'combine' other tickets.. so if you have one day left on three tickets.. they will give you three different tickets.

So if I have one ticket with one day left, they will issue a current ticket. Can I then add to that new ticket to make it a 7 day ticket? Would the "park hopper" option carry over?

Knew it was a long shot. I only have the one day, so it wouldn't even make sense to turn it in. We go for a week so I would save about $4 making the 8 day hopper a 7 day hopper and using the one ticket.

Yes, as you are seeing - there are advantages of when and when not to exchange the ticket.

For short trips.. they are the best because you would be paying the highest prices. But you are losing value to use them to extend longer tickets or use multiple tickets to make a long trip.

Ok.... I've got same situ with 1 x day left on a 1994 issued 4 day value pass for Disney world.. Would I be able to redeem this at Disneyland Anaheim?

They will do it for current tickets, so I assume they would do it for older tickets too. It takes some more activity on their part, but they will redeem a day off a WDW pass. So, if your ticket window person is nice enough and good enough, I'd wager they'd redeem your ticket for a one day park hopper. Key is if they can validate it by looking at it (how the days are marked off, etc).
