12/3-12/8

:xmas: We had a wonderful trip to the world last week! :xmas:
Sat 12/3:We drove from Arkansas so we arrived at the All Star Movies around noon. We did the early check-in and went to MK. It was crazy! They were still taping the ABC Christmas Parade so they were routing everybody behind the mainstreet buildings to tomorrowland. It was pretty cool getting to see the "behind the scenes" areas behind main street. We got to see Regis & Kelly for just a minute as we headed backstage. The crowds were horrible. People everywhere! :hammer: We finished out the night with dinner @ Cinderella's Royal Table. It was our first time eating there & we even got to watch Wishes while we were eating!
Sun 12/4:Spent all day @ MGM & even did the extra magic hours. Lines were great. Around 15-25 mins for TOT & Rockin Roller. Decided to do the Great Movie ride just to rest & ended up getting stuck on it for about 15 minutes, yikes! We were in the jugle room and heard Tarzan swinging back & forth over & over. Fantasmic was great & the Osborne lights were amazing. Had ADRs for dinner @ Hollywood & Vine. I recommend it highly for a buffet dinner!
Mon 12/5:Started the day @ AK. Short lines for everything, Less than 20 minutes for everything. Watched the Festival of the Lion King for the first time. It was great! We then made our way over to Downtown Disney for
some shopping b4 heading back to MK for dinner @ Liberty Tree Tavern. We had so much fun eating there. The food was great & we shared the characters with about 4 other tables. Each character came by at least 5 times.
Tues 12/6:This was a very chilly day! We spent all day @ EPCOT. The longest line was for Soarin'. It was around 60 mins all day long. Did the fast pass and only waited about 20 mins. It was wonderful. Definitely one of my favorites! We did Mission Space 2 times in a row, we walked right on it both times. Spent a lot of time in WS. Watched the Candlelight Processional with Cicely Tyson. Had ADRs at Biergarten then of course finished the night with Illuminations.
Wed 12/7:Spent this day @ MK. Lines were great. All under 30 mins and even walked right on some rides. Got to see Cinderellabration. We had ADRs for dinner @ Cinderella's Royal Table again, definitely our favorite! We watched Wishes & then went on some more rides during the extra magic hours. It starting a light rain & people must have left because it seemed like we had the park to ourselves. Walked on Space Mtn, Haunted Mansion, Small World, Big Thunder, & Splash.
Thurs 12/8:It rained almost all day this day. We slept in then headed to the Grand Floridian to see the gingerbread house. Very tasty looking! Then we took the monorail to EPCOT for our lunch ADRs @ Le Cellier. Great food & great service! Then went back to MGM & walked right on TOT & Rockin'Roller. Did some more shopping @ EPCOT & finished our trip with Illuminations.
Recommendations:The All Star Movies Resort was great if you consider your motel room as just a place to sleep at night like we do. It wasn't very crowded or loud like I have heard from others.
DO THE DINING PLAN!!!!! We had 4 adults in our party and our meals totaled well over $1400 for the 6 days. And we only had to pay $35 per person per day = $840. That's a huge savings! And it even includes a 15% gratuity for the table service meals.
I can't wait for our next trip.....

Thanks for your report.

My wife and I are hooked on eating at the Castle - especially, the chocolate cake, which is, to die for. So, please tell us, you had the cake or at least, let my wife know that one of you had the seafood dinner. :slurp:
