New Canada film? I never heard about this! I really like the current one. How will it be different? I hope the song stays in it.

Me too. Canada is actually pretty upset with the current version; and I've heard the film has been made and is now correct...

What's wrong with the current version?

The government of Canada thought that the film was too sterotypical of Canada and didnt show guests at Epcot all we have to offer. They wanted a new film to show more of our advances throughout the last 2 decades. Hopefully the new film will showcase our country better.....Oh , and keep the song, maybe update it though.

but seriously i never heard anything about people being upset we mostly find it funny when you get stuff wrong about canada...although it also might have something to do with the new territory /province of nunavut idunno

It's not like O' Canada uses "Blame Canada" for the background music. Did Wayne Gretzky lodge this complaint during his Olympic Hockey whine session?

Disney is usually very acurate when it comes to other country's cultures, especially at Epcot. I have been to O Canada before, and I haven't seen anything that can be deemed as "steryotypical" of Canada. Usually, the steriotypes would be about hockey and adding "eh" to the end of everything they say (I find it annoying when people do this). O Canada is a film that is mostly composed of flyovers of the beautiful landscaping there. I find nothing stereotypical about it :)
