10 Of My Ideas

I've always wanted to be an Imagineer so I will put my thoughts and ideas:

1. Hollywood Tower Hotel (Hotel) - This would be a hotel that looks like its connected to Tower of Terror with the same theming. The only problem is it would be too dark and intense.

2. More dark rides in the parks (besides MK). Animal Kingdom could have Jungle Book, Tarzan or Lion King. Epcot could have Aladdin in a pavilion. Hollywood Studios could choose any movie.

3. Tom Sawyer Island into E-Ticket of Liberty Square (already posted this)

4. Pixar's "Up" ride - This would be similar to Peter Pan's Flight in which you are on a couch with balloons tied to it and you are flying over South America with Russel, Dug, Kevin, and Mr. Fredrickson

5. More rides with the Star Tours format of different ride combinations.
Examples: Muppet-Vision, Mission Space, (all the rides with a projector to look at)

6. Muppet Meet and Greets - You would be able to meet LIFE-SIZE KERMIT (3 FEET PUPPET)

7. Swedish Chef Restaurant - You order your food, then you can watch the Swedish Chef cook it. You go to the "window", which is really screen, and whatever you pick to eat [from kid's menu] you can watch him make it.

8. More Theming in the Water Park attractions.

9. Studio Backlot removal for Pixar Place expansion

10. Another Star Wars e-ticket, filling up a Star Wars Land.

I think this could work exceptionally well. It could be the signature hotel for DHS. I think the key would be that it be the Hollywood Towers Hotel, one side that is the glittering, just-opened hotel and the other the more macabre, so that you have a choice (good if you have little kids) Imagine if the terror side had an everyday elevator that dropped like the ride! You would have to get in and fasten your safety belt, but how fun could that be? Maybe you could only get on it if you were brave enough to stay on the 13th floor or something, that way you would have to wait for everyone to ride it.

2. More dark rides in the parks (besides MK). Animal Kingdom could have Jungle Book, Tarzan or Lion King. Epcot could have Aladdin in a pavilion. Hollywood Studios could choose any movie.

Do you mean this only in the sense of movie tie-in rides?

Hmmm, would have to see the idea. Haven't seen what was posted before yet.

No! You know what you want to do here? Soarin', but in your own "house" with 5-7 other people.

Think about it, your job is sort of the villian. In the pre-show, you're given the task of ousting Carl from his home (stay with me), you don't like the idea and object, but in order to keep your job you comply. You go from the office and trudge to the elevator of the huge building you work in (think stretching room/aquavator or whatever they were called at Living Seas). You go out and across the street is Carl's House, really, right there. You walk through the gate, up to the door and a surprisingly pleasant Carl is there waiting. He says he's been expecting you and welcomes you into the house. You go in the house and he offers you a seat. You strap in and he says that he knows losing his house is inevitable, so he hopes you can work something out. He says he'll be right back. It gives you a couple seconds to look around, out the windows, etc. Then the house starts to jerk and move. You look outside and see the tarp fall off of the balloons (and in some window you can see the balloons rising). One more jerk and suddenly you can see that you are rising, too. The rig that is the house has "broken free" and started floating. You look down and realize that the floor stayed on the ground, but Carl was wise enough to put in a glass floor, so he could see where he was landing. Now the ride moves smoothly with the whim of the wind over the countryside, looking into a Soarin'-style Imax screen through the floor. If it was 3-D, you'd have to wear the flight goggles!. At the end you somehow land back where the house was and have a change of heart that Carl should keep his house right where it is. THAT would be cool, not to mention entirely possible. Obviously, there's a lot of room for more story there, but you get the point.

Maybe, I'd like to see something with more input from the riders, so you can make mistakes, but get rescued, etc.

6. Muppet Meet and Greets - You would be able to meet LIFE-SIZE KERMIT (3 FEET PUPPET)

Sorta like a Disney Jr. show, but M&G instead of a show, interesting...

7. Swedish Chef Restaurant - You order your food, then you can watch the Swedish Chef cook it. You go to the "window", which is really screen, and whatever you pick to eat [from kid's menu] you can watch him make it.

And you thought the Tower hotel was too intense? ;-) Interesting, but the only thing he usually manages to prepare is himself! Has potential, though.

8. More Theming in the Water Park attractions.

Never been to one, moving on...

9. Studio Backlot removal for Pixar Place expansion

Need more details! If you wanna put the Up ride there, cool!

10. Another Star Wars e-ticket, filling up a Star Wars Land.

Need more info. Not against it, but it would have to be completely different than star tours.

A Roger Rabbit E-Ticket (or D-Ticket) could work, "Roger Rabbit's Toontown Trolley", anyone?
