10 day park hopper for 12 nights?

Hi everyone,

We are coming to Disney for our Honeymoon in Oct 2018 and staying for 12 nights. We want to purchase the 10 day park hopper plus option (and a 2 day pass to Universal Studios too.)

My question is, are the 10 days consecutive? Do our rest days/universal days count towards those 10 days? or would I need to buy an extra two days to have access to the park for our full stay of 12 days?
