1-day trip from West Palm Beach

I've been sitting on this 1-day/1-park ticket for the longest time. I'm itching to use it! I'm figuring Ill use it to go to MK since more has opened or been refurbished since the last time I was there. Okay, here's the breakdown of what I haven't seen yet, per park:

MK - New Fantasyland, Haunted Mansion refurb, It's a Small World refurb, Space Mountain refurb, Pirates refurb, Big Thunder refurb

DAK - Expedition Everest (heard that the Yeti AA hasn't been fixed, so I will wait until it works before I go back). Seen everything else here, though.

EPCOT - Seen everything except Soaring, but I have seen Soaring twice at DCA.

DHS - I've seen everything here except Toy Story Mania.

So, the biggest attraction I haven't seen yet is EE. Has the Yeti been fixed yet? Even if it is working, there's more things I haven't seen yet at the MK and more to do there for a day.

What day can anyone recommend that I go? What will be the hours? Crowds? Special stuff? Etc.?

Thanks

You include a lot of information, and I have attempted to sift through it all in order to formulate a more proper response. You have a one day-one park pass, and it is your preference to use it to visit the Magic Kingdom. I would say that MK, along with EPCOT, are the best parks for a quick trip in which only one day is feasible. Mid-January through March should yield fairly mellow crowd levels. Stay away from National holidays. We have been experiencing an unusually warm Winter throughout much of Florida, and choosing the proper day should center around the weather forecast. I can not predict for you what the best day for smaller crowds will be, but I have found that early Winter through early Spring are decent times to go.

I wish I lived in WPB again. You never know what you miss until you move. Besides the weather, I miss being able to hope on the turnpike and go to WDW any time I wanted.

I would do a mid week trip the MK, if your not going to be spending the night on property, choose a non extra magic hour day, to help keep the crowds down. We did this same thing several years ago, drove down from Atlanta area, and used up the last day on a old 4 day park hopper ticket. It seems you will see more from you list by going to MK, have fun.

Okay, thanks for everyone's input so far. Here's my pros and cons of each park that's important for my decision.

MK is compelling because I want to see what they did in the major rehabs of the classics, especially Haunted Mansion (which is one of my favorites) and I want to see the New Fantasyland too. The con side of MK is that New Fantasyland isn't finished yet. I'm feeling maybe I should wait until its done before returning to the MK. After all, I'm only two and a half hours drive to WDW.

Animal Kingdom is nagging at me because EE is the only E ticket I haven't seen. What's stopping me is the posts on this board saying that the Yeti isn't working. I want to ride it when it works right! Can someone confirm if it's working or not? Also, is the Yeti a minor detail to the ride and I'll enjoy EE whether or not the Yeti is working?

I've seen everything EPCOT has except the new Test Track. While I haven't seen Soaring there, I have ridden it when I went to California a few years ago. Is the new Test Track worth going to EPCOT for only that?

At DHS, I've seen everything but Star Tours 2, Toy Story Mania, and the new stunt show. The thing is, though, some of my favorite classics are at DHS such as TZTOT and RRRC and the Great Movie Ride.

Can I just upgrade my ticket to a Park Hopper and how much would the upgrade cost?
