09/29-10/04 Trip Reprot

Got back yesterday and I'm still tired from the drive!

It was me(23), my aunt(44?), and my cousins, (5 and 7). We drove from TN and left around 9 p.m. We made it down in less than 10 hours. We made it at the Pop Century before 7 am. I couldn't belive it, but they had a room ready for us and we we're in our room unpacking by 7:30 am.

Day 1: After resting and showering, we had breakfast at the Pop and headed for MGM Studios. This was all our first time there. First ride was RNR and it was awesome, we waited like 2 minutes. Next, we got FP for ToT and watched Beauty and the Beast, loved it! After that, it was time for ToT. We all loved it but the 5 year old, she hates the dark. It was miserably hot that day and we we're all tired. We rode most of the rides with minimal wait. We left around 4 or 5. We ate at the Backlot Express before leaving. My aunt got a hot dog that she really enjoyed. I got a burger that I didn't like along with a chocolate cake that would have been better if it was chilled. It was ok for someone who hadn't eaten anything except for a waffle all day.

After getting back, the kids were bugging us to go to the pool. So we went to the pool that night and it wasn't too crowded. We had reservations for 'Ohanas that night, and we were going to go back to MGM to watch Fantasmic, but it was rained out. We canceled our reservations and decided to snack for dinner. I was bummed we didn't get to try 'Ohanas, but Le Cellier made up for that!

I'll post more later. I'm still tired from driving all night long.:snore:

Looking forward to more. Sorry about missing Ohana, but sometimes you just have to listen to what your body is telling you. Pace yourself!

I wrote day 2 earlier today, but my computer decided it wanted to freeze up. So I lost an hours worth of typing in 2 seconds.

It's around 1400 miles roundtrip. Here goes again.

Day 2: We slept in till 9:30 today. We let the kids swim in the pool for an hour. After getting ready, we headed off to EPCOT. We got there around 11. First thing we rode was Spaceship Earth. The park wasn't really crowded, so we only waited like 5 minutes. It was like that all day, except for Soarin. We did the Energy ride, which we all enjoyed. We basically rode everything except MS and Soarin.

We had lunch reservations at Le Cellier at 2:40. We arrived in Canada about an hour early. We were tired and hungry. After checking in, the host said we might have to wait till our actual time at 2:40 to be seated. That was fine. It was air conditioned and our feet hurt. They made the kids honorary Candadians for the day, gave them a maple leaf stamp on their hands, and made them pledge. It was cute. They thought it was so cool. After only 10 minutes the hostess called our name and we were seated. We were so glad!

The food here was incredible! Of course we had the dining plan, so we took advantage. I ordered the cheese soup, didn't like it. My aunt ordered the beef kabobs and they were awesome. We both had the New York Strip, and they were made to perfection! For dessert, we had the chocolate whiskey cake and the creme brulee`. Freaking awesome!!!!! I give this place two thumbs up. By far the best place we eat at the whole trip!

Next, we headed off to the Land Pavillion to ride Soarin. By then all the FP were gone and it was an hour wait. We skipped it and watched Circle of Life. By now it was 5, and time to head back to the Pop to get ready for MNSSHP.

My aunt decided she didn't want to go. So her and youngest stayed, while me and the 7 year old left. We arrived at the MK at 7:30. Just in time to see the parade at 8. Main Street looked so cool with the different colors. They played Halloween music in the park, which I really liked. We were at the end of Main Street on the right, before you get to Tomorrowland. It was a good spot. We saw the Headless Horseman ride through. And the parade headed our way about 10 minutes after the HH. My favorite part were the gravediggers after the HM float. The batteries in my camera died when the parade started, so I only got one picture. That's ok. We road HM first. We hit Fantasyland and did Mickey's PhilharMagic and It's a Small World. It was so crowded in FL, so we headed to Splash Mtn. and walked on with no wait. We saw the fireworks when we were on the ride and saw them coming down Chikapin Hill. After that, we went to TL and eat at Cosmic Ray's. After that, we rode Buzz with no wait and TTA. By now it was 11 and we were tired. We got back to the Pop at 12 and was in bed by 12:30. MNSSHP is worth it!!!!!!!

Tomorrow is the Magic Kingdom.:)

Day 3: We slept in again. We took a dip in the pool a couple of hours and left at 1. We had reservations at Whispering Canyon Cafe` at 1:40. We were 10 minutes late, because I didn't realize that taking the boat took so long. I'll never do that again! We were seated in a side room, which was fine. We were more hungry. Our waitress was really nice and helpful. I had the chili nachos and they were really good! Really good! I had the chicken sandwich, can't remember the name, but it was awesome. My aunt had the all-you-can eat skillet, she didn't like it. For dessert, I had soem kind of banana thing with caramel suce and a fried tortilla thing, it was burnt, but everything else was really good.

We got to the MK around 3:30. It wasn't really crowded. The headliners were usually 30+ minute wait. We hit Tomorrowland first. Got our FP for Buzz and rode CoP. We got to see the 40's twice. It was funny because everyone started clapping when the ride went to the next room. Anyway, we rode Buzz. I sucked. Next was SGE, I really enjoyed it. Just as much as AE. We rode Space Mtn., TTA, Indy Speedway. Fantasyland was really crowded. We only rode Mickey's PM and It's a Small World. Everything was 40+ minute wait, and it was already getting late. We rode HM and when we got out, it was pouring the rain. After it stopped, we hit Adventureland, and rode PotC and Jungle Cruise and both we walked on. JC is so cheey now!!!!

We watched the fireworks while walking to the bus place. The line was a mile long for Pop. We waited over an hour! There were people sneaking past the CM helping the disabled people, passing everybody up. It was so awful! They had 2 buses going and it was still crazy. We got back I think at 12. It was stupid to see people without children, passing up older people and being just rude! Another thing is that Disney should have a bus dedicated to disabled guests. We had to wait 30 minutes while the CM loaded the wheelchairs. They should do something better to accomidate resort guests better.

Day 4: EPCOT
We arrived at 11. We wanted to do World Showcase today since we missed it two days before. We had reservations at Le Cellier again at 1:40. So we rode a couple of rides to kill some time. I had the beef kabobs and a New York Strip again. Awesome! For dessert, I had the raspberry sorbet, one word, heaven! That was sooooooo goooooood!!!!!!:slurp:

After eating, we headed toward Soarin', we had to wait 50 minutes, because the FP were already out. But, it was worth it. One of the best rides of the trip!!!!!! We hit Mexico and worked our way around. We saw Kansas at 7. That was totally cool. I love Kansas. They put on a great show. By now, it was getting dark and it rained, but we were under the stage cover thing. We headed to MS since I haven't got to ride it yet. I thought I would puke since I'm prone to motion sickness. It did give me a rush, but glad to say, I only left with a rush. I kept my lunch. We rode Spaceship Earth as we were leaving, it was my little cousin's favorite ride there. We headed back to the Pop and called it a night.

Day 5: MK again
It was so crowded today. Everything was 40+ wait. We went to Mickey's TTF. Got our pic's made with Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. Next, we went to Fantasyland, and got FP to Winnie the Pooh ride. We ate at Village Haus. I really like the turkey sandwich and the pizza looked really good. We waitede 30 minutes to get our food, but it was worth it.
It was time for our FP, and we still waited 30 minutes, but it was a cute ride, and I'm glad I rode it. We wanted to ride Peter Pan, but the wait was 40+. So we skipped it. Next was Hall of Presidents. Nice break from the heat and walking. We got FP for BTMR. And waited 40 minutes in line for Splash Mtn.
Next was Adventureland again. We rode PotC, I jsut can't get enough of that ride! I wore my Captain Jack Sparrow shirt that day too! The kids got their autograph with Capt. Hook. That was fun. We did Swiss Family Treehouse. It was time for our reservations at Crystal Palace at 7:50. The food was ok. I don't think I'll go back for dinner again. They had good desserts though. The turkey was really good. The characters came around twice. That was fun. By now the fireworks were about to start and we didn't want to wait an hour for the bus so we left before they started.

Last day: Animal Kingdom
We checked out at 9. And headed for AK. We had reservations at Donald's Breakfastosaurus. They food wasn't that good and we waited for 30 minutes to be seated. Goofy, Mickey, and Donald were there. I would recommend not to eat there if you're looking for good food. We rode Dinosaur with a 20 minute wait. Not bad. It was fun. We did the Primeval Whrl. The ride is very jerky, so beware!
We went to Rafiki's CS and walked around there. It closed at 5, so we didn't get to do KS. It was a 60 minute wait. We watched The Lion King, very enjoyable and long! By now it was almost time to go. we hit some shops. I bought a cute Ariel purse and a pic frame. And that was all she wrote.
I'm still tired, even though I slept till 11 today!
Next time, we won't be staying at the Pop Century. Way too much noise! It was ok for the money. Next time, I'll pay for the deluxe!!!!! That's it!:)
