Recorded this last night on the Link channel. It’s from 2016, only 30 minutes long; and although it portrays Disney unfavorably, it was interesting to see the facts about when they wanted to build Disney’s America in Virginia in 1993-4.
It initially had 75% public support, which reversed within a year for various reasons.
I think the one I most took issue with were the historians saying, “American history is already here in Virginia.” I get it. But how many more people would come for Disney and then visit the historic sites as well?
It could have been done on a different site than the one originally chosen.
