    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

What if I want to buy the park out for the day, stand at an entry touchpoint, and yell "poors" at everyone that tries to get in? How much for this magical experience?

    Tom Sawer Island closing date

I am still holding out hope for the discovery of a rare bird that has made TSI its home, which will necessitate land protection.

News New Polynesian Resort DVC villas building to open 2024

We visited in September and could see into the villas from the monorail. At night, lights were on in the villas and interiors appeared largely complete, with visible artwork on the walls. The final push seems to be with the exterior and details.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Despite Josh's promises and All-4-One singing I swear, D23 is historically known for announcements that never come to fruition. Economists are predicting that the United States economy will experience a recession within the next 18 months and wars are intensifying in several regions of the...

News New Polynesian Resort DVC villas building to open 2024

We visited the fourth week of September. On Monday, September 30th, it seemed that work on the mural had begun as lines were visible on the eastern side of the tower. Without the mural, the colors and styling reminded us of Scottsdale condominium communities and resorts. A-frame roofs should...

    Article: How The Mouse Stumbled........

A former Disney Store executive, who worked with the company in the 1990s and 2000s, told me that the internal language used in applicant tracking was "high affinity guest." The examples provided were riding Space Mountain 6 times in one day and naming all of the locations of the lesser known...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

There is a TikTok video circulating that the "aging riverbed" is being used to justify the expansion similar to the "irreparable water damage" that resulted in Mission: Space replacing the Horizons building.

News Disney Lakeshore Lodge (Project 89 - Development near Fort Wilderness)

When Tom Staggs left the Walt Disney Company, his image was removed from the Pandora groundbreaking photo. Bob Chapek announced and described the details for Reflections. I could see them purposefully reimagining the resort to distance it from any associations with Chapek.

    Hurricane Helene (2024)

We were crafting in the BLT Community Room this evening and Recreation Cast Members were preparing indoor activity station materials for tomorrow as they are expecting guests to remain in their rooms and/or at the resort.

News Disney Lakeshore Lodge (Project 89 - Development near Fort Wilderness)

Taller than Disney's Riviera Resort? Guess they are looking to market and sell Theme Park View rooms for fireworks viewing.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

If we lose the Rivers of America entirely, then I would like to see the Liberty Belle docked at Port Orleans - Riverside. Thematically it is a win.

News Disney Lakeshore Lodge (Project 89 - Development near Fort Wilderness)

I do not recall if it was someone within our community or posted on another board, but a member said they were part of a focus group where the name Disney's Colors of Nature Resort was discussed. I remember liking it much more than Reflections - A Disney Lakeside Lodge.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Do we know if there is any truth to the earlier rumors about the south loop being retained?

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

I know this is stupid, but I have been thinking about D23 2022 and the "Have you ever wondered what lies beyond Big Thunder Mountain?" line. Now, I randomly laugh at the best response. "Nothing, but Cars is now where the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island used to be."

News Disney Lakeshore Lodge (Project 89 - Development near Fort Wilderness)

This seems to be the $1,000,000 question. Has the Walt Disney Company ever cancelled an announced project before, only to bring it back years later as initially proposed?

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

On TikTok, one user said that the storefronts in Frontierland are those of Disneyland Paris, not Magic Kingdom. He noted where the entrances to Country Bear Musical Jamboree and Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe should be, but are not as they are presently. He thought it appeared to be a poor...

The location is truly unfortunate. Not even a canopy to provide shade for the performers.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

When walls went up and the hub was closed for reimagining, navigating the walkways from the former Future World East and West sides was not always easy. During those years, I did push a family member in a wheelchair and traveled with another in a scooter, so it could have been specific to our...

News Disney Lakeshore Lodge (Project 89 - Development near Fort Wilderness)

I wonder if we are getting Reflections as originally announced or a somewhat different nature-inspired resort.
