    Some questions from a first-timer

@cw1982 Thanks for clarifying the Photopass for me. I guess I'll use the service and maybe there will be a couple photos after our trip that I like and are worth puchasing. I'll definitely also ask them to help us take a photo with our phone. It's a good thing you let me know get them to take a...

    Some questions from a first-timer

@RMichael21 Thanks for that tip, I'll have to re-arrange my fast passes then to take advantage of the additional ones. Where do I book the additional ones on the day of, at the park front desk? @cw1982 That's awesome to hear that we might get seated next to the aquarium. The Magical Star...

Feedback on my planned August trip

Oh, I had not factored in airfare from Sweden. I had assumed you were flying in from North America. I'm sure it'll be worth it. There's nothing else quite like being able to satisfy your inner child, and what better place than Disney World? Can't put a price on experience :)

Feedback on my planned August trip

I'm guessing for a part of 5, this trip is going to cost between $12-15,000? Insane

Feedback on my planned August trip

Are you going to Universal's Islands of Adventure? If so, please update this thread after your trip because I plan on going there for a day in September. I'd love to know some tips about visiting that park. Admission tickets are crazy expensive...like $135 per person :S

Feedback on my planned August trip

I have nothing to contribute to your plan, but I just want you to know how jealous I am that you'll be staying so long. I plan on going in September, but I only have two days to explore the Disney parks so I'll only be going to MK and Epcot. Missing out on Animal Kingdom, HS and all the water...

    Some questions from a first-timer

I just want to take a moment and let everyone know how thankful I am that you took the time to help me out with my trip planning. I seriously did not expect this much helpful feedback. I have read every single post in this thread (some even multiple times) and have taken notes and considered...

    Some questions from a first-timer

Thanks for the tip! Does anyone know where I can find a schedule for park shows that I can check out throughout the day? Also, I'll have one night (the day I arrive in Orlando) free to check out DTD and/or the boardwalk. Can anyone recommend anything to see or do in any of those areas? I trust...

    Some questions from a first-timer

Thanks for everyone's advice, especially about the free quick service dining plan. I just cancelled by booking with PriceLine and booked through the Disney World website, where I was able to get the quick dining package for free! @Missymoe4 I considered getting the package that gives you 1...

    Some questions from a first-timer

Okay, so I'm thinking of cancelling my reservation with Priceline and booking through DisneyWorld directly since you can get the free dining plan. My question is, if I'm staying at Disney for 4 nights, but only opted for tickets for two days, do I get the free dining service for all four days...

    A few logistical questions inside..

Thanks again for everyone's responses. @belledream @PhilharMagician I looked into the package deals on the Disney website. Since it's a hotel + ticket package and I'm staying for 4 nights, it seems like I also get 4 days of tickets. I only plan on going to Disney + Epcot for 1 day each, so I...

    A few logistical questions inside..

@MarieTA @tinkgrl1685 I had no idea the free dining would work with 3 nights as well! I already booked a package through Priceline (and I don't think that gives me access to the free dining). Luckily, I can get a full refund on the hotel. I think I'm going to re-book the hotel through Disney...

    Some questions from a first-timer

Thank you everyone for your input, I love reading your opinions and experiences! @WondersOfLife Thanks so much for your in depth descriptions. I have no idea what most of these rides are right now, but they all sound so exciting. I really wish I had more time to properly enjoy them all. I...

    A few logistical questions inside..

Thanks for everyone's replies! @kasey1988 I looked into this, but it seems like you can only get the free dining plan if you stay a minimum of 6 nights. The first day I get to Orlando I arrive at noon, so I don't want to pay entrance fees going to a theme park that day since I won't be able to...

    Some questions from a first-timer

Wow, a big thanks to everyone who took time to answer my questions. Judging from the responses here, I might be better off not getting a meal plan. I actually got a quote from a Disney vacation planner and she quoted me $1036.38 and that includes: 3 nights @ Pop century resort 2-day tickets...

    Some questions from a first-timer

I apologize if this is the wrong place to post it, but I noticed this was the most active section so I was hoping to get some answers here from people who have been to Disney world. Context: Due to time restrictions, I'll only be able to spend 2 days at Disney world (but I'll be living on the...

    A few logistical questions inside..

Due to work/school schedules, our trip to Orlando will only be 4 days and 3 nights. The good news is that we'll be staying on site close to the theme parks. I plan on going in early September - from what I hear, the park is less busy during this time (to what degree I have no idea). I plan on...
