    Disney After Hours

Just got back. We attended on the 15th and it was amazing. The crowds were very low and we had minimal if any wait time. We got to ride everything that we wanted, skipping splash mountain, and the 7 dwarfs coaster as we didn't want to get wet and my son wasn't interested. I feel like Peter Pan...

    Disney After Hours

We just got tickets for Disney After Hours for next week. They had several dates in February and March. Looking forward to it and hoping that it's as uncrowded as some have reported! A friend of mine called this week to ask about additional dates for later in the year. They didn't have any but...

Status of the flu in DW

Seems like this post got a little high jacked with the flu vaccine debaters. I won't touch that with a ten foot pole! I get where you are coming from as I am currently on medications to suppress my immune system for a medical condition. I am also a nurse so I know how dangerous the flu can be...

What does everyone think about Mama Melrose's?

Personally a "must do" every time we go to HS! Love the chicken parm, steak with macaroni and cheese and the Caesar salad. Service has been fast and food has always been good.

    Bread Basket Survey

Just so you know- the last time that we went to Tony's Town Square (2/14) they no longer served bread/rolls with the meals. They did offer the Pezzi Parmesan Bread on the appetizer menu but it was $7.49. It said that it would serve 2 but was more like an oversized muffin. I am ashamed to admit...

Does anyone know the current conditions of The Polynesian?

We just left there on Thursday. No construction yet at the GCH that I could tell but lots of construction in front of Tokelau by the beach. We stayed in 3913 and here are some pictures that might give you an idea of what is currently going on.... at least as of last week. Honestly I didn't...

    Portion sizes in the parks

And here is the chicken parm from Tony's and the Pezzi Parmesan Bread. The chicken parm was a good portion but I felt that the bread was overpriced @ $7.49. It was really just a large muffin. Tasted okay but certainly not enough for two in my opinion.

    Portion sizes in the parks

When we were there last week we almost always split a meal. It was plenty most of the time and left us room for a treat later. The restaurants were always kind about it as well. I will try to post pictures of some of the meals so you can get an idea of size. First picture is the breakfast bounty...
