I carried around PAL Mickey on our 2006 trip. My parents had bought it on an earlier trip and passed it to us. So annoying to carry around, and I didn't find it overly useful. I probably put it in the Goodwill box at some point - had no idea I could have sold it on eBay!

Good to know about the name. Yell loud enough, they'll throw something at you. From Disney 's perspective, it makes sense. From the perspective as a human who can't stand entitlement mentality, ugh!!! (Not about what you got!)

Just read on another site that she's claiming yet somewhere else now that Disney has given her park tickets and a private meet & greet with Cinderella. Ummmmmmmmkkkkkkaaaayyyyy...... Haven't seen her return to the boards to make her triumphant proclamation.

In the comments section elsewhere out there under this same OP, someone (husband? OP herself? You be the judge) complains that planning shouldn't be necessary to visit WDW, that basically you are paying for a service to cater to your every whim. So if that's the entire family's mentality...

AND add in there those prior trip reports of hers elsewhere where they had so many of the same issues, like not getting anywhere on time, complaining that Akershus was too far from the front gate, that it took too long to get from MK parking to the MK, etc.

I thought it was a total fake at first. Then her prior trip reports were unearthed. Same complaints! It was still Disney's fault for being late to ADRs. She didn't like what it takes to get to the MK from the parking lot. She got mad at CMs who wouldn't just let them park the stroller where...

Gotta say, this whole episode made those hours without power (ice storm - yay mobile!) much more interesting.

I was convinced earlier in the day it was fake until some old comments (10 yrs old) surfaced of trip reports and some of the same complaints.

Did anyone notice that on her second comment (third post on that site) that her location is listed as Philly? If that's accurate, then how impromptu was this trip?

When legitimate complaints are hidden between complaints that AREN'T Disney's fault/don't make sense (like the parking issue), and on top of that, you find out the individual has a history of making the same complaints on prior trips, it's really hard to take anything said seriously. Of course...

She has also been 40 minutes late to Akershus. Her husband was mad that Norway was so far from the gate, and he had to take a smoke break to calm down as to not lose his temper before joining his family for breakfast. While she admits that her family can't be anywhere on time, this is, again...

I want to know what the OP was trying to accomplish by going on planning sites and complaining about how her day was horrible mainly because they didn't plan. It's not a cautionary tale. It's not even a horrible day tale because that would mean something had would have to happen, like receiving...

As others have mentioned, the OP has posted this around the Internet, including a similar forum. She has come back and retorted, as well as her husband (I'm assuming, it could be the OP using another name, but the ISP address was the same). Not sure why they haven't done the same here...

I'm in NC, too, and I got hooked on DD coffee because the Hess gas stations around here started putting in DD Express stores. Loooooooove it!! And there's a full blown DD across from the Y. Nothing like a post workout jolt (I do skip the sugar yummies!).

There was a substantial app update today. Woohoo! The glitchy stuff looks fixed. Hope that extendes to canceling!

It was my understanding that 'standard' at BLT were the lower level rooms. I *think* I remember seeing up to 4th floor, but don't quote me on that. We had a Bay Lake view room because I wanted to be higher. We stayed in a 1 bedroom last year. It is our favorite resort! Sad to not be there...
