[Rumor] Rip Ride Rockit Possibly Closing

So then these are replacing both parade building houses?

Space 220 - is it a real elevator?

A ride where most people don't realize you change elevation/floors on an elevator system: Transformers.

Where are they? Are they being used for this year?

[Rumor] Rip Ride Rockit Possibly Closing

So here's my thought. Rockit is likely on life support at this point. Fast, while not liked, is a people eater. Not sure if the park could take the hit of losing both for capacity. I can see Fast lasting until Rockit's replacement. Maybe.

If you could implement 1 major change throughout the parks, what would it be?

I debating between "mandate that at least one out of every 3 new experiences be original and not based on existing IP" and "get rid of any form of Fastpass/virtual lines. I think I'll go with the second one. But I know that will never happen so I would take the original paper Fastpass system...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens 2025

I have two problems with it: 1. Much of the theming is just slabs of concrete or plastic or metal painted one or two solid colors. It gives it a look of "concrete jungle" rather than the whimsical setting they were going for. 2. The solid colors everywhere require everything in the place to...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens 2025

I've always felt that IOA is 60% impressively themed (Port of Entry, Skull/JP, Hogsmeade, and Lost Continent) and 40% "fill it with lots of tacky clutter" (Marvel, Seuss, Toon Lagoon).

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens 2025

Really hope it does turn out that pretty. Universal's parks are largely NOT aesthetically pleasing so it'll be fun to see them attempt it.

Hollywood Studios vs Universal Studios Florida

I prefer it to Simpsons. Image and audio quality are better, doesn't have that distorted screen fisheye effect, and it doesn't aggressively shake you back and forth.

Hollywood Studios vs Universal Studios Florida

Fallon isn't really that bad, the worst part is Fallon himself. Other than that the biggest issue is just that it debuted in a resort that was already oversaturated with screens and went up against the vastly superior Flight of Passage.

Hollywood Studios vs Universal Studios Florida

10 years ago I would have said USF, but with DHS beefed up with Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land, it easily gets the edge. USF is in bad shape. It's the ugliest park in Florida by a wide margin and probably the most run down. It currently doesn't have any single attraction where I would say...

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

Theme park companies need to be banned from using the word "Adventure" in naming anything. At this point it's beyond lazy. This is the absolute worst yet. It couldn't possibly get more generic than this.

I wonder if the plant in front of Pandora would fit in that new Epcot planter?

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens 2025

People are always going to enjoy rides that get you wet on hot days. I don't think that will ever go "out of style". Actually, just compare to Jurassic Park River Adventure (or is that what you meant?). Attraction pacing is absolutely something Universal has often not gotten right in their...

EU/Donkey Kong Roller Coaster Orlando Testing & Night Vs. The Donkey Kong Roller Coaster Japan. How do cars jump the track?

I was thinking by having the lower, actual track roll over a small hop to emulate the jump. Also, there should be gaps where the next section of fake track is lower than what you're currently "on". If all it does is just gently glide over the gaps then it doesn't realistically emulate jumping...

EU/Donkey Kong Roller Coaster Orlando Testing & Night Vs. The Donkey Kong Roller Coaster Japan. How do cars jump the track?

Something that kind of bothers me, if the rendering is accurate, is that it just glides over the gaps. If it were true to the games then it should perform a jumping motion over the gaps. That would also be more thrilling.

    HHN 2024

IMO they do this wrong. It should extend past Halloween and two weeks in November. Doing these houses in late August/early September is just disgusting because that's the time of year that you still get the summer heat but without the afternoon storms to cool things off.

    Questions on Expedition Everest.

Apologies, I assumed you meant that four is the max. Also if you're ever on the ride and are unsure how many cars are on the track: if you get held for a bit after the broken track or yeti shadow projection, there are probably 5 trains on the track. Also, with five trains, a train will have to...

    Questions on Expedition Everest.

Incorrect. This is how it opened, but it was modified not long after opening to handle 5 trains and is running 5 unless crowds are low or there's an issue with a train. It actually handles 5 trains better, as there's always a train ready to dispatch from unload to load, whereas with four trains...

Let's go to Disney World in 1973

The reason there is so much parking footage is that that entire channel consists of footage that was obtained as B-roll for news segments. It's a fascinating channel as the videos just place you as if you're in those settings and just observing life.
