Do you think Disney will finally fix the Yeti after Universal opens their new King Kong ride?

Here's the yeti in action. About the best I could find. Yeah I get what some of you are saying about the Yeti being the main part of the attraction. It really does all lead up to that part where you meet him. And to be honest, at this point I think that Disney are too interested in keeping up...

What Tomorrowland Means to a Young Dreamer

*Warning: Message may contain spoilers about Tomorrowland* So I saw Tomorrowland with my Wife last night and I thought the beginning was fantastic! I was on the edge of my seat with watery eyes. It just took me back to my childhood, building crazy things and reading about distant worlds. I...

    DisneyQuest Worth It?

Oh and we LOVE the Pirates of the Caribbean simulator too. Sorry I'm blanking on all the real names of these attractions inside DQ.

    DisneyQuest Worth It?

I enjoy it. But that's just because my family only usually spend the evening in DQ (maybe 4 or 5 hours max). We also have traditional games that we all play on (the NASCAR racing, the Buzz Lightyear game, and maybe Cyber Space Mountain if we haven't ate too much that day). It is pretty out dated...

Park soundtracks that give you goosebumps.

+ TEN BILLION FOR THIS!!!! This is the only music that I remember from a few visits to DLRParis in my childhood. Wonderful! :)

How often have you "stolen a LINE from WDW"?

I pretty much tell the housekeepers working in my hotel to "please stand clear of the doors" in Spanish every single day! Ha.

    Ideas for Disney Dog name?

I always liked Rover (from Carousel of Progress), but I guess that is to general to be thought of as Disney related. I like Pongo too... for the right dog.

Do you think Disney will finally fix the Yeti after Universal opens their new King Kong ride?

The problem is that the Yeti isn't the weenie. The weenie, in my opinion, is that first big drop. That's what the Guest wants (and expects) to experience. The Yeti is just an added bonus that most might not even realize is broken. I'd love to see it working again though. :)

    Odd Question: WDW POS System?

WDW used MATRA and DCL used Micros when I worked in Merch at both locations. Definitely could have changed since then with all the new technology coming out.

Daughter wants to work at WDW

I'm not entirely sure, but when I applied to work for DCL, I had to be 21. I applied prior to my 21st birthday.

So...about that big dead elephant in the room....

Wow, I never knew that. It's pretty crazy, but I'm glad they did tests before it officially opened. At least they corrected their mistake, huh? :)

What Pirate Costume for Pirate Night? Vote!

The hook costume is awesome. I used to really enjoy seeing the guests in costume for pirate night. People get so creative. Thanks for teeing one of the fun guests. :)

    Hiding in the parks

Now I'm glad I started reading these forums. Just for these little tidbits that I had no idea about. Thanks for posting. Wow! That's crazy. I'll definitely have to check out more of their videos.

What's the best WDW secret you know?

As for a tip. On your Birthday, go to the Beverly Sunset candy store at the very beginning of Sunset Boulevard (opposite from the end that has ToT). Nine times out of ten they will give you a free marshmallow treat if you are in line to buy something.

What's the best WDW secret you know?

This used to be my old stomping ground. I don't know how true this is. Maybe the CM was just being nice or creating a Magical Moment the day you went? I used to write the questions for the quizzes a few years ago. Maybe they changed their prize, but it was just a certificate and maybe a pin when...

Walt Disney's Secret Island in WDW

Not sure if you mean Discovery Island, but it used to be an animal observatory. They closed it down in 1999 and moved the animals to DAK. I once drove my boat right up to that place. It's super creepy at night!

Disney World Mistakes *gasp* Is that possible?

I know quite a few of the "mistakes," although there aren't many. Here's my favorite from the Haunted Mansion: "The 'Peppers Ghost' illusion in particular proved very useful for a spooky ballroom scene where a birthday dinner, dancing and a creepy organist can be observed. A rather funny story...
