Through the canon of Star Wars a lot of planets have been destroyed or irreparably damaged. Obviously Endor stands out with a Death Star crashing, or Alderaan being destroyed. I think even in canon Naboo has been really destroyed (might be wrong here but I believe it was part of Project Cinder).
As the parent of a 2 year old and uncle of 8 kids between 1 and 9, I can say that they all love coco and several have gone through stages where they watched Coco multiple times daily to the chagrin of their parents, due to repetition (all adults enjoy the film itself). It still is viewed fairly...
Just got back from spending a week at Wilderness Lodge. One thing I noticed is that they are doing a lot of site work. There had to be up to 100 dump trucks going in and out of the access road off of timberline road every day. Every single time I drove out of the Wilderness lodge gate over...
I personally don't know of anything confirmed but the rumors have been around for a while now that Zelda may eventually replace the rest of lost continent and that Pokémon may go in the kidzone area.
Its interesting that if you look at the art closely, most of these lands have literal walls surrounding them so that the bleed in from outside that land is limited. This does seem to be the next step in theme park builds and we have been leading here since Universal came out with Hogsmeade...
If you really look at what they are doing, the idea is going into each of these IP "universes" and therefore if IP don't exist in the same universe then they don't belong in the same land in this park. For instance, people will point to Mario and Donkey Kong and Yoshi being different properties...
I've seen some recent rumors arise about Disney either opening their own airline or partnering to bring themed planes to existing airlines. Any truth to this rumor?
this is kind of silly. They should of been charging these rates to start with, when you are being 24 dollars a night you mentally round up to 25 anyway, they probably will get little pushback from this other than on sites like this.
The quote is for the first CARGO mission to mars in 2022. I believe the goal is to send ahead a ton of supplies that are there when the astronauts finally get there, which will allow for a better habitat to be built and sustained.
I don't want to speak for lazyboy, but my interpretation is that in Europe and other countries around the world where the population centers are tight communities with very little in between the US has a very spread out suburban community layout that makes having trains with long stretches...
Did you notice the "a bit" in that sentence, they are definitely relying on the entertainment part of edutainment heavily. But from what we have heard, there will still be things like Living with the land, spaceship earth, the world showcase movies, etc. in the park to balance the new...
A bit touchy on the theme? Some may find it reprehensible, but the theme may just be changing... I have a feeling that Disney looks at the futureworld theme and has decided that it is outdated. They will keep a bit of the edutainment feel but will structure how it is presented very...
Well I have heard that the Wakanda outreach center pavilion is going in next to China.... you know the old Africa section!
…..
Maybe I shouldn't post this joke as it may just be too good of an idea (if you wanted to add IP everywhere in Epcot).
Sure can.... it can be a little rigid which is another issue with it but it seems like it would be great if it worked properly and was fully up to date. I was going to attach here but it is a google spreadsheet and when I download to excel it loses all formatting and links...… hmmmm
Hi everyone, does anyone know of a great spreadsheet template that could be used to plan? I have one from a few years ago that links all the restaurants and park logos etc., but the rides/restaurants are now out of date. Any ideas?
Thanks!!
I am sure cost conscience Disney has tried to save money on this. If they feel like the best use way to modernize the area is to knock the old buildings down there may be issues that we are not privy to. Maybe the old buildings couldn't be retrofitted to accommodate the vision they have for...
