I think the night safari was eventually considered to be a failure and stopped running even while the late hours were still in effect. I do think DAK needs at least one more ride in addition to a new show on the water to really offer a complete nighttime experience but it’s getting there...

Absolutely love Awakenings and it’s a pity it really doesn’t happen now.

Disney in the last year or two seems to be more responsive to guest feedback and trying to improve/plus experiences than previously under Iger. I don’t really expect any significant changes to Starlight especially in the short term but I wouldn’t be terribly surprised to see some “easy” stuff...

Can’t speak for anyone else but I love PTN and was hoping they’d ship it to Florida. Starlight looks fine but I much prefer the more upbeat score of PTN - but I’m not a fan of trying to make a light parade “elegant” rather than exciting and fun.

I do think that people on these pages don’t recognize enough that Baroque Hoedown is literally the archetype of “Disney parade music” for the a huge majority of guests. It’s one of those things that is recognizable outside of its original context by being so well known.

I’ve seen that the costumes for PTN are considered a problem - they are apparently heavy and uncomfortable, expensive to run, difficult to maintain/keep in good shape, etc. it’s allegedly one of the main reasons they are hesitant to run PTN consistently. I didn’t expect them to have anything...

I think it’s important to not only consider the “only thing at WDW touched by Walt” aspect but also that it was one of the actual Disney designed World’s Fair attractions. Well I legitimately think another ride will come after Tropical Americas, but yeah getting two would be awesome. And with the Paris TLK and DCA Pandora there are some easy things to add….

I do think either the Lion King ride in Africa or a third ride in Pandora (or both!) is really what the park needs to finally getting to an unequivocal full day status for all guests.

I do think that a new show on the water - probably with drones - is going to happen, probably opening at the same time Tropical Americas opens and we’ll see extended hours. Looking forward to Awakenings happening regularly as well.

We (collectively) can’t complain that there isn’t stuff made specifically fit the parks and then complain when they make original things instead of pre existing IP. Personally I love that they made something specific for the parade.
