News Walt Disney World Adds Water Park Perk for 2025 Resort Guests

I am having a hard time believing this is going to move the needle that much - especially with the updated pricing and updated cancellation policy. This is the type of stuff that drives our decision to visit Disneyland instead. We can stay at a good hotel, for less $$$ across the street, with...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens 2025

I think the big expansion pad is for the long game for epic. I don’t think they’ll need to dip into it for the next decade or two. If they are playing the long game here, the central hub coaster will be ready for a major update by then - i.e. a re-track or removal. Look at the expansion pad if...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens 2025

I’m very excited to see all of the images and fly thru released today. I enjoy seeing the details and this release excites me as the details look good. The big picture is not new, however the detail and updates to the previous concept art, appears to be based on exactly what is being built. If...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens 2025

The discussion on the location of the in park hotel is fascinating to me. IMHO they are using the hotel as a backdrop to Centennial Park. I view that the water and fountains are what are going to draw your eye and draw you in, completed by the carrousel and starfall racers. It’s not a castle...

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

I just checked the Dolphin - 2 days (2/12 to 2/14) and it was around $350/night. I would check out the Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve and see if any dates work there. Even with resort fees, would still beat some other options and would still be in the bubble.

I took it as a reminder that their pay site is there is you want more info or info sooner than the podcast. I also could see that keeping up with what you are talking about on which platforms could get confusing after a while! I like how they present info and appreciate they cover multiple...

I would guess like most of their resorts they’ll offer bus service. I’d be surprised if there were any other methods offered at this point. No inside info, just IMHO.

News Walt Disney World raises the cost of parking at the theme parks October 2023

Hey, our hotel bookings are down because our rates are too high and people are staying off site. You know what we should do… raise parking fees. That will solve everything! 🤣

News The Seas pavilion new color scheme

I don’t mind the scheme, I just wish they had gone even lighter/whiter in their take. I think the building has beautiful sweeping curves that are very modern. They could have kept going in that direction even more! Add an updated lighting package and that would really bring it up to date.

Gotcha. I guess there was some speculation that some of the central projects were eliminated or put on hold. Happy to see that’s not the case!

Anyone know what this wall is for? Looks like the start of a building, but placement seems odd as it’s directly in front of the portal?

It could also offer a unique opportunity to do some tweaks to that part of the beam as part of a tomorrow land overhaul. I imagine it could be really cool to go through a ride building as part of your descent into the theme park. Kind of how WDW people mover goes through/around attractions...
