Annual Dues Is there a thread already that discusses annual dues? I am familiar with typical purchase prices, per point, etc... but I am interested in annually, on top of the purchase price, what the costs are. Many thanks!

As some of you may know, I posted a few weeks ago after booking a trip for August at Saratoga Springs (have never stayed there before). We returned home four days ago and I wanted to give my thoughts. SSR is beautiful. The grounds are, like all of the Disney properties I've seen...

I had to go through this today. We're checking in Friday, called today to confirm everything. Lucky I did as I'm used to paying for DDP at check-in, apparently that has changed and I paid over the phone. Three more days!

So, 11 days to go... but it's almost time for bed so soon it will be 10 days! :) I booked a last minute trip for a six night stay at SSR, beginning on August 19 via DVC (LOVE it). SSR was the only resort available, which is fine. I have been calling daily as they suggest to check on...

What a great idea! Can packages be shipped directly to the resort where you're staying?

11 more days! Someone mentioned shipping luggage... what a fantastic idea. To have it down there waiting for you! Is this expensive? I've not been able to make ADR's at any of our usual haunts, but that's ok. I don't think anything short of a hurricane could bother me now. :lol:

20 days AND we're going to celebrate our engagement with our girls. VERY excited.

I absolutely love the DDP! Since they started offering it, I've had it for every visit. For us, it's great to have meals prepaid for and not have to think about it after that... it adds to the magic! I must say, I did enjoy it more in the beginning when gratuity and appetizer were included...

Thank you everyone. I definitely feel better about the new territory. I guess I just need to go more often in order to try out every resort and the different offerings... ;) I suppose now I'm just curious as to everything being booked like it is. I didn't think late August was usually so...
