    MK rope drop strategy

Hi guys, it's been a while! Heading back for the first time in five years next week! Feels a lot longer. Planning to rope-drop MK next Friday (non-resort). The general consensus seems to be to head across to Adventureland but we've got a DR at Skipper Canteen at 2.05. To avoid walking back and...

    Advice for next trip

Hey all, So we're heading back at the end of October for the first time in two years. Are there any new policies in place, or anything at all I should be aware of that I've maybe missed? It's the first time in 10 years we're going as two families, meaning a grand total of 10 people this...

    3 Disney wishes

1 - Get rid of Speedway for Radiator Springs 2 - BATB show replaced or at least in rotation with something else 3 - A fifth park to allow for many of the good ideas posted here, plus a Kingdom Hearts related attraction.

    Post-1984 Magic Kingdom Attraction Quality

To answer the OP, the two eras couldn't really live without the other. Disney parks are a bit like soaps. You have your old guard who provide the nostalgia, and your new characters who are more relatable to your younger, newer audience. I think MK has that down to a tee right now. Rides I grew...

    Stitch's future?

That's interesting. Why was it rejected?

    Stitch's future?

I mentioned in another thread that there's a pattern emerging in the way MK is being developed since 2003, going clockwork around the park. Tron is the latest in that cycle, so by that logic SGE would be near the top of the list after that...

Rumor Inside Out to Replace Journey into Imagination with Figment?

I've absolutely no qualms with Figment going. When it does, it will be long overdue. Yes, near enough anything would be an improvement, but that doesn't mean something should replace just to get rid of it. It depends how much you value the principals of EPCOT from yesteryear. Some won't care...

    Wonders of Life

The concept art for Future World still shows the Wonders of Life pavilion. Is there any confirmed news or rumours about Disney's plans for it?

Rumor Inside Out to Replace Journey into Imagination with Figment?

If an IP is to lead that area of the park, Inside Out is a good fit. But the IPCOT taunts are vindicated if this is true. Don't think this is a good move.

My Unpopular WDW Opinion - post yours!

Personally just think it has fallen behind in this area of attractions. So many lasers it's impossible to figure which is yours. Compare it to TSM... My unpopular opinion is that BTMRR is the most overrated ride on property.

What are you most excited about from D23 2017?

I can honestly say that from the bottom of my heart I am most excited about KH3 coming in 2018!

What would you do with Future World?

So we know that one side of FW is getting some new attractions. GOTG is on its way and we are getting a new dining area. But with more development set to come on the other side, what would you like to see happen? Think it's inevitable that the Imagination pavilion is overhauled greatly. But...

News Remy's Ratatouille Adventure coming to Epcot

Think the key to successfully integrating a ride into a pavilion is not making it stand out. Mexico is the best example of this and the ride, while being fun, actually adds so much to the building. It's why Frozen doesn't quite work for me in Norway compared to the other pavilions, it's a bit...

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

I'm caught in two minds on this one. I think a coaster in each park is necessary, so this is great news in that sense. But I don't think it should be at the expense of something so important to EPCOT's initial values. It's blatant that something needed doing with UoE, but this? Most I know just...

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

Tron's arrival perhaps hints at a big change to Tomorrowland next, too. Magic Kingdom developments have moved clockwise around the park since 2003, going all the way back to Philharmagic. MI and SGE are exceptions admittedly - albeit SGE was a makeover - but since then they've developed the...

Top 5 attractions that need to go

Share the sentiments of most on here. 1. Swiss Family Treehouse. It's a walk-on, which is handy for families with kids, but every time I have a walk round not one person looks remotely interested. 2. Jungle Cruise. Yeah, it's nostalgic, but nostalgia got DHS into the mess it was, and still is...

    Little Details...

Does anyone else notice the small 1 percenters Disney used to do so well now lacking? A few days ago we went to MK at 8:15 in the morning and the trash cans were overflowing and clearly not emptied overnight. That wouldn't have happened 10 years ago!

Is Disney complacent , and back on its heels

The simple answer is yes. However, recent developments make me wonder if it is part of the masterplan. It was going to be difficult for Disney to compete with Universal's development over the last 7-8 years, regardless of what they came up with. Instead, they've taken a long term strategy...

    Tomorrowland Speedway

This. I don't ride it and I'm cool with the fact it isn't aimed at me. But I'd be more inclined to like it if it was nice on the eye and didn't give me a headache whilst I walked past.

Is Stitch's Great Escape REALLY that bad?

People dislike it because they loved what it used to be. It isn't that bad, it's just not as good as its predecessor.
