I was at Disney this past weekend and finally got to see Luminous in person. I thought it was okay. The fireworks were impressive, but the music was not memorable. I think the music from Harmonious was better, I just hated the permanent structures and the chaos of the show. I really wanted to...
This looks like a very enjoyable race. I am already coming down for the Springtime Surprise weekend, so I can't run both. Hopefully, they will have it again next year and give those of us who are out of state a little more time for planning.
The music from RoE is what makes it superior from all other nighttime shows. I listen to it occasionally in the car and it still gives me goosebumps and makes me teary eyed.
If you are a Poirot fan, then you should check out Britbox streaming service. They have all the old episodes, plus a ton of other great British mystery series. Death in Paradise and Vera are must sees!
I can empathize with your anxiety, and as others have noted, the first time you leave the kids is the hardest. But, it is important to couples to have the alone time to reconnect. I think eight days is long, for all parties involved. I would try four days/ three nights. I hope that you have...
I think because they targeted the show to kids is why it was so poorly received. Maybe Disney thought that it would help keep families in the park after dark. But then it kept the adults from staying. My group of adults saw it for the first time over Thanksgiving weekend. We walked away thinking...
As an example, I am meeting family in the spring to use up some DVC points. We love the Flower and Garden festival and usually spend a day there. However, I am tired of the walls being up in Epcot, so we have decided to go to Sea World instead.
As a DVC owner whose home resort is the Boardwalk, I am very happy with the umbrellas. There were few covered places to eat along the Boardwalk area, which made it unpleasant. This is an improvement. The Sundries shop was next to the check in area, it didn’t really carry groceries, but it did...
Jungle Cruise is a must do for my family when we visit MK. We have a one day ticket to visit Epcot this holiday season and are considering adding a park hopper just to ride Jingle Cruise. It’s such a great addition to the holiday happenings!
We love to stay around the Waynesville, NC area. There is easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, close to Asheville, tubing down Deep Creek in Bryson City, and Waynesville has a nice Main Street with cute shops.
This is one of my favorite small spaces as well. I think it would help if they add more greenery and accent pieces. The space looks unfinished and visually uninteresting.
This may be the straw that broke this DVC camel’s back. I have been going back and forth with selling my contracts. I am so heartbroken with the direction the new Disney has taken. I know how great WDW was, so it’s hard to accept what it is now. Probably time to let go and enjoy the wonderful...
We feel exactly the same way. We have been AP holders for years, but no longer feel the value is there. I have one more trip planned so that I can run in the Springtime race at Animal Kingdom. After that, who knows? I am just so disappointed in what is happening (or lack of happenings) it’s...
We finally purchased the Christmas train to go around our tree. We had been using the monorail. I also purchased some cute Disney kitchen items for our son who recently moved into his own apartment.
I have been wondering if the people who are finding success with this system are solo travelers. Are you bringing anyone along with you? I can see how this can work for finding availability for one, but can get increasingly difficult the more people you add. That is my biggest concern because we...
It was tough to choose between MK (quantity) and Hollywood Studios (quality). But, I chose HS because I think Tower of Terror is the best ride in all parks
We began staying onsite at WDW during the late 90s with friends and family while the kids were young. We were younger parents with not a lot of extra spending money, but during each trip would we would try one of the nice restaurants on property. We’d leave the kids at the kids club so it was an...
Boardwalk is our home resort, so I’d really like to see this happening. Last time we were there, most everything was closed and it was depressing. One of the reasons we bought there was because of all the lively things going on along the boardwalk, from the surrey bikes to the entertainment to...
