Disney is purposely choosing to make the guest experience much worse due to a false premise that plastic from the US ends up in the ocean. It does not. Plastic from the US is not an issue at all.

Plastic straws are not an issue as all of them are properly disposed of in the US. You need usually 3 paper straws to get through a single drink. Disney is actively making the guest experience worse for literally no reason.

It really is a shame that Tom Staggs was too good at his job that he overshined Iger and then Iger forced him out. Now we have a Disney that is failing and constantly putting out trash products and movies.

Because they are creatively bankrupt. They have for the last decade haired mostly on things other than merit, and it is showing in their results. No actual good storytellers are left. The people who got hired were hired to push an agenda, so the quality has gone way downhill.
