So who will be at WDW Easter week?

I'm not sure yet, but more than likely I'll will be working that day in the park.

    Part-time/Seasonal

From what I remember, the recruiter asks you what you would like to do. I chose to do merchandise. I was thinking about attractions, but then remembered you need to be 18, which I was not at the time. During your interview, I would mention that you would want to be in Fantasyland attractions...

    Part-time/Seasonal

The hours all depend on your line of business. One of my friends is a presenter at Innoventions East and her hours are usually 10am-7pm. Merchandise has different hours as well. Sometimes I get the morning hours from 9am-4:30pm, and sometimes night hours, such as 3:30pm-midnight. In...

    Part-time/Seasonal

Hiss is right about part-time availability. Part-time cast members must have 2 days of full availability. I work at Mouse Gear, and when I was interviewed, the recruiter asked for the two days I have full availability. Although they need 2 days, sometimes they might not schedule you every day...

    EPCOT Center T-shirts are back!

When I worked on Saturday, I saw a bunch of them. I myself was even putting the Women's black Epcot shirt on hangers that day. I wish I could give more details as to if it is limited or not, but I'm not sure..

Fun Fan get together for EPCOT's 25th on Oct 1st

I would love to be a part of this get together, but it would all depend if I have classes that day, or if I am working that day

    Seasonal job info

From what I understand, you can be eligible for a main gate pass after working at least 1 day in Seasonal Status during the current calendar year. I believe that will take into effect after you change your Cast ID. (sorry I can't give an accurate enough answer even though I am a part-time cast...

Alert: Avoid WDW This Weekend; Other Updates

Last night I was at work in Mouse Gear, and the cheerleaders I saw were well behaved; however, I did not actually see full squads, but rather small groups of like 3 or 4. Other than that, heck was not breaking loose from them, but it was breaking loose by the amount of people wanting to buy...

Alert: Avoid WDW This Weekend; Other Updates

The dance teams I saw last Saturday weren't bad (although I only have the Mouse Gear point of view). Hopefully I don't experience the obnoxious cheerleaders at work today.

    Merf NYE @ Epcot (Crowded!)

I think it did. I had the "honor" of having a shift during New Year's at Mouse Gear. A little bit after the fireworks that were shot at midnight, I went back in and the register still says 11:59pm. Other than that, I thought it was a great way to ring in the New Year.

    Tapestry Puppets @ Epcot 12/31

I can't completely confirm it since I was working over on the other side, but I believe it was similar to a meet and greet because it is intermittent appearances in Future World West from 7:55pm-1am.

    Merf NYE @ Epcot (Crowded!)

At about 3:45pm when walking to work (CM at Mouse Gear), Test Track had the wait display as 60 minutes, but the line went from The entrance following the walkway and out towards the breezeway.

    Kodak going going gone?!?!?!?

DPI stands for Disney Photo Imaging. In ToonTown, they were the ones who wore the Photopass vest, however I don't know if they are actually wearing the costumes like on Main St.

    Kodak going going gone?!?!?!?

DPI are actual Disney CMs who in take photos in ToonTown (character shots) when Kodak was still in MK. As of now, DPI has full control of MK, but I am not positive on the other parks. To answer Kadee's question, Kodak is not fully out of Walt Disney World. I myself am a Kodak employee and...

    Kodak going going gone?!?!?!?

I do work for Kodak, and this is true. As of today, DPI (Disney Photo Imaging) has taken over all positions that Kodak held (i.e. Photo pick-up in Expo Hall and Main St. photographers) All of the Kodak cast members at MK have all been relocated to resorts or to waterparks(I was relocated to the...

    Disney's PhotoPass ?

Once you take your picture on main street or with characters, it takes about 90 minutes-2 hours. However, for the past few weeks, my mananger told me that DPI (Disney photographers, not Kodak) was behind by about 2 hours, so the character pictures in ToonTown and the ones over in Tomorrowland...
