    Worst Walt Disney World Attraction

Solid list, except Country Bear and Living With The Land don't deserve spots on it. I haven't seen the UP! show since it was Flights of Wonder, but I loved that show. It was a close race for me between Mission: Space and Speedway, but Speedway won. It's just a terrible, smelly, hot attraction...

Three hotels in 8 days. Are we dumb?

Because, with our airfare/DVC points situation, it turned out to be cheaper ANNNNND it extended our vacation by 3 nights! Helluva bargain. I honestly don't think it will be super taxing to make all those moves, since bell services will take care of the bags. We shall see though. If I hate it...

Three hotels in 8 days. Are we dumb?

OKW May 28 - June1 CBR June 1 - June 3 AKL (Kidani) June 3 - June 4 Due to airfare being super expensive from our hometown, we actually saved money by delaying our arrival by 1 day but extending the trip 4 days. Because we moved back the arrival date, we ended up with 17 DVC points that needed...

Any tips for a split stay?

Our trip begins in 47 days! We're DVC, so we've booked OKW May 28-June 1. After that, we check into CBR for June 1-June 3. After a long story I won't get into (nothing bad, just long,) we ended up with 17 points to use. So what did we do? We booked a savanna view studio at Kidani for June 3-June...

Last minute, as in next Thursday...Am I crazy?

My DW came home one Thursday afternoon in February of 2017 after work, and said, "Get me to Disney!" I jokingly planned a trip with a three night stay at POP. I got up from the computer, and she sat down. When I came back in the room, she said check our email. I pulled it up on my phone and saw...

    Poll: Adult Trips to WDW.

Y’all will love it! Be sure to book a “date night” reservation at a nice restaurant. My wife and I love O’Hana or California Grill for dinner.

    Poll: Adult Trips to WDW.

This is a great discussion with a lot of good points. Just to be clear to a couple of posters in this thread, I'm Dad, not Mom. :p Also, I want to make sure everyone knows that my ten year old is NOT really calling us mean. It's more of a sarcastic, joking "you're killing me here, Dad." From...

    Poll: Adult Trips to WDW.

My wife and I have done an adult trip to WDW a couple of times. We’re planning another one, and our ten year old son says we’re mean (even though we take him at least once a year.)

When it's just adults, how do you handle Character dining and other interactions?

My advice: With face characters (princesses and such,) let them lead the conversation. They have scripts and lines to say, so let them do the work and you just respond. With costume characters (Mickey, Donald, etc,) a “Hi, Mickey! Thanks for stopping by!” is always my go-to. Hope this helps.

Is the post-race party ticket included if we only run the 10K?

    Buying one-time use points...

We have 49 points left and are looking to possibly come back for another trip at the end of the summer (Aug-Sep.) Even borrowing points, we don’t have quite enough to stay for the number of nights we want. Is the process of buying the one-time use points difficult? What are your experiences? Thanks!

    Favorite place for breakfast

Another vote for 1900 Park Fare. The characters are great and spend a good amount of time at the tables. The food is fantastic too! I would also add Tusker House for breakfast. Great time!

    Hoop Dee Doo transportation options...

The wife and I decided to reserve a seat at Hoop Dee Doo, but we want to know the easiest way to get there. We're staying at POLY, so monorail to MK, then the bus? Or is there a quicker way?

what was the best WDW guest meltdown you've observed

The wife and I just got back from a quick parents-only trip and experienced a meltdown. We were dining at O'Hana (our absolute favorite Disney restaurant,) and we scored a 7:50pm ressie. That meant we would be able to watch Wishes. They gave us a great table. It wasn't right next to the...

Everyone's Best and Worst Dining Experiences?

Oh! I forgot to mention Rose & Crown during Illuminations. We got there a little before our reservation time and asked for outdoor seating for the show. The hostess was awesome and said it might be a little wait. Within 10 minutes, we were seated. Now the kicker was that Illuminations wasn't...

Everyone's Best and Worst Dining Experiences?

MK: Best is Be Our Guest. Their breakfast is my favorite on property. Worst is Tony's Town Square. Chef Boyardee has better Italian food. Epcot: Best is Tutto Italia Ristorante. The risotto was fan-freaking-tastic. Worst (which wasn't all that bad) was La Hacienda AK: Best is Tusker House...

    Too old to buy DVC?

I agree with the above posts and wanted to add that 64 is not old, no matter what the Beatles say. I'm a 34 year old saying this. :D

    We own the Poly now!

Thanks! We will add points in the future, but for now, 50 is great. :D
