Wish (Walt Disney Animation - November 2023)

No. It’s a disaster of a film. I expected to like it though not really respect it (because I have a hard time remembering a Disney animated movie I haven’t liked); but this was was just bad. The songs were serviceable but the story was inane. So so bad Moana 2 was not great but at least it...

Can you cancel a LL for one park and switch to another?

That’s pretty much what I guessed. I’ll ask them about it when I’m there

Can you cancel a LL for one park and switch to another?

Different aspect to this question: we’re starting our day at AK, but the only FP shown available are for after 2pm. Could we book Epcot multi-pass (either only prebook two or drop one day of), and then when we start our day in AK, grab an our third FP there (before going to Epcot)?

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

I hate this new plan. Makes me sick But I get it that California was done with TSI - everything has to be accessible and sanitized. This kind of plan wouldn’t have come from an imagineer: it had to come from the top. It was a beautiful space that gave MK a really special vibe…but I was...

Rumor D23 2024 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

I certainly hope so. It’s a really really beautiful, relaxing area of a busy park

Rumor D23 2024 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

Specifically what he said was “earth is already starting to move” - maybe that’s metaphorical. I love TSI and really appreciate the Liberty Belle. It sure looks like the easiest thing to do is put Cars and Villains inside the train loop over TSI/RoA…but he also definitely said “the biggest...

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

I just hope they do a good job making it fun. Sure Red the Pirate looks good, but is she fun?: “They want the rum!” So funny 😕 Guardians has some good humor though

Iger announces plans for Zootopia 2, Frozen 3, and Toy Story 5

Seems really tricky to create two more Elsa movies while dodging her sexual preference. Perhaps I’m wrong, but seems likely they’re going to offend someone

News Hatbox Ghost coming to Walt Disney World's Haunted Mansion

It’s an interesting question. At this point, after Harmonious I would think that they might be more inclined to listen to the fan’s opinions

News Hatbox Ghost coming to Walt Disney World's Haunted Mansion

In the graveyard, the ghosts are no longer menacing. The ride has shifted its tone to a fun rather than ominous feel - but hatbox seems to be a foreboding character…right?

News Hatbox Ghost coming to Walt Disney World's Haunted Mansion

I don’t like this placement choice at all. But when we were riding HM in June, I was trying to imagine where it would fit. I didn’t think there was space after the bride and it would be worse to place it in the graveyard. Ultimately, I was hoping that they had just forgotten about it

When are you going to fix that yeti?

I honestly didn’t notice a problem when we were there in June. Maybe the eyeball didn’t blink? Does it? I do miss the steam in the queue below the grates, but that’s been gone for quite some time

When are you going to fix that yeti?

Fine. It was inspiring. How would you have it now? They’re trying to keep the SSE post-ride things current (I suppose)…we never engage with them Living Seas promised something amazing but just led to an aquarium. The follow through didn’t live up to the setup. Living with the Land has...

    Dinosaur has seen better days

Interesting. I’m amazed how close those walls are! So given their space, they’re doing everything they can. They just need to keep it maintained!

When are you going to fix that yeti?

If you think that the state of WDW is mediocre, I would love to see your house Pretty high standards, if you ask me… “It was better in the past”. I was there in the Eighties; apart from SSE, Imagination, and the fact of Horizons, I wouldn’t necessarily agree

Would be nice to see it. No argument there

When are you going to fix that yeti?

I don’t disagree about the paintbrushes at TSI…or the barrel bridge that’s *hopefully* getting fixed. They are details that make the experience immersive and memorable. But I care much more about the barrel bridge than the yeti. Of course, it would be lovely to see it work. Or improved. But...

    Dinosaur has seen better days

I don’t know how good this ride could look - we’ve been there after reasonable refurbs and it’s looked pretty good…but as a ride, it certainly seems like it could/should be better. I would love to see what it looks like with all the lights on to see why it’s in the dark so much. I should think...

Okay…I’ve been a member here for more than a decade and a paying sub for at least 5 years. And while this discussion has been going on for forever…I have to say that there are a lot of babies on here. Who really cares! Honestly! You’re being childish in attacking a forum member who has a...
