To me it's a no-brainer. AKL all the way. I say that assuming money is no object and it's more of an 'adult' trip. That is not to say that AoA doesn't have its pluses. For kids theming and the skyliner to 2 of the 4 parks I think AoA is definitely superior.

Got Biergarten for lunch on the day we wanted. Will try to fine tune the time as we get closer. All in all I'm happy.

Back in 2008 (when the economy was in the dumper) we got a free upgrade from POP to an OKW studio. When we arrived all the studios and one bedroom units were sold out so they gave us a 2 bedroom. I guarantee that will never happen again!

We've never done any of the after hours ticketed events (perhaps we think Disney has gotten enough of our money from 20 + trips over the years?) so can't speak to them. My only relevant comment would be you're only a week removed from August. Beware of the heat and hummididity!

Renting points is the way to go. We're going six nights (studio) in December. 3 nights OKW, 3 nights AKL Kidani. Total cost through Dave's was less than six nights at Pop. Yeahhhh!
