We were there at the same time quoted above. We have been going to WDW during the same week for a few years now. We have never seen crowds this large. Even last year, most of the attractions had 15 minute or less wait times. This year, 35 minutes to ride Pirates!

We were in WDW from 10/16 thru 10/21. We have been going this same week for the last 4 years. This year, the crowds were the largest we have seen in October. Normally, the longest wait was never more that 15 minutes. We waited 30 minutes for Pirates! Usually there has been 0 minute wait time.

We just returned from our annual family trek to WDW. Something was missing. Not once did anyone tell us to have a magical day. We even stayed in a Disney resort. This was always one of the highlights of the trip. Has anyone else noticed this?

Well, you get enough food at Disney restaurants that it would be easy to feast out of a dumpster with the amount of food that can't be eaten. :lol:

When we turn the TV on and see Stacy, we know that we have reached our happy place. Updates will come with the new Fantasyland. What new attractions could be added until then?

Well, I guess it's time for me to get some hate mail............ I dread taking the ferry back from MK in the evenings. The crowd is already tired from a busy day. Then we are herded on like cattle. The boat is overcrowded and so many people are rude in voice and actions, i.e. pushing...

Just watched the video. Yes, it's a bit trimmed for time. But it is attractions like this that make the Disney parks stand out from the rest. These are the things that keep my family coming back.

Love Pan as it is. Yes, there is some dust and we did notice a spider web or two. Interactive queue would be great. Although, just think what it could be if they had more robust AA figures.

Kiddie Rides??? There are no kiddie rides at Disney World if your a kid at heart! 145 Days !!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on your first visit! If going with kids, I recommend buying a book titled "Wald Disney World with Kids" by Kim Wright Wiley. This helped us out greatly and took a great deal of stress away. Also, these discussion boards are great references as well. 176 Days & Counting until...

Philharmagic My daughter has the same problem with Philharmagic. We have to cover the vents in the seats with our hands so she isn't hit by water.

Expensive...Yes Yes, the Disney experience is expensive. However, we also purchase the "package deal". There is something about being able to hand over a plastic card and know that the meal is already paid for, especially when the dining plan price for the day is about the price of the meal...
