It should be addressed that the rockwork around the structure itself is looking very filthy. It's all covered in "Florida rooftop grime" and a lot of it has turned black. It doesn't look like natural dirt, but I'm guessing Disney hopes it does and that is their excuse for not giving it a facelift.

The issue really isn't "which disabilities deserve the pass and which ones don't". It's that a staggering number of guests will go into Guest Relations/Guest Services, say they can't wait in line, and will just keep saying things and adding to their disabilities until they either say the right...

The games in TSMM are at least engaging and challenging, and each game has a different technique. This just has you mindlessly shooting everything with no real goal or intensity.

It's choppy phone games on the walls only you have a heavy gun instead of your finger. There's -some props but not much. The games are not fun. It's garbage.

Absolutely. Tower of Terror is like 75% show and 25% thrill ride. Everest the opposite, 75% thrill ride and 25% show. Tower of Terror looking awful for years is a much bigger issue, but since it's a bunch of little problems and not one giant 25 foot one that everyone jokes about, people don't care.

Not really an effect, but it seems as though they now operate with the railings up on the second lift: It was like this on a recent visit for me as well. Before, the railing would only rise if the ride shut down.

Rode again yesterday and they're still doing this. Picture having a bunch of theater spotlights pointed directly on you. It's weird, looks like crap, washes out the screen... I know it's a ride nobody considers "important" but it's baffling to ruin the miniscule sense of theatrics that the ride...

I also agree that the ride is okay, but: I noticed this too. It looks like crap and washes out the screen. They shut off during the ride, at least. It feels like a bunch of powerful spotlights are pointed at you and you can see how dirty the seats are.

The question was "why did they paint it to look like buildings rather than painting a rock pattern on it?" I, too, would like to know their reasoning.

The ride doesn't have any onboard audio, but there are speakers placed throughout the track. You can hear the sound you noticed in this video from yesterday! You can hear it at 1:37 in. The hiss before this sound effect was always there and is not a sound effect but the sound of the track...

The problem is that so many fans ONLY care about, and are ONLY aware of, the yeti. In reality, basically every major attraction could have its own thread like this, and there would be just as much if not more to report.
