MSEP ending at Disneyland on Sept 1, WDW return in 2023?

That float is the oldest in the parade, going back the entire fifty years (and for the drum, possibly more??)

News 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort reopening in April 2024

I miss Fairy Godmother, one of the best face characters now in Christmas parade exclusively

New signs installed at Trattoria al Forno. Any word on the character breakfast? Also, work has SLOWED at the corn dogs hut.

MSEP ending at Disneyland on Sept 1, WDW return in 2023?

I played piano for DCL in 2022 and we were very clearly told not to play anything from Song of the South as that, (along with the solo repertoire of Michael Jackson?), was banned from being played at the corporate level. And yet, someone booked a wedding on the ship and had Zip A Dee Doo Dah...

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

True in part but I think ESPN’s closure had more to do with Disney just not wanting to operate it. And Big River caught everyone off guard; their parent company went under.

News Joy meet and greet coming to Pixar Plaza at Disney's Hollywood Studios

They very rarely add without removing which is such a shame. Live-action Ariel is still meeting, I feel like her days are probably numbered

News Test Track to be reimagined

The track is having a lot of issues, which necessitates a refurbishment basically as soon as possible, but the scenes themselves look great aside from the descent. Still, it opened in 82, got its first big refurb 12 years later in 94, got another big one 13 years later in 07, and now we're at 17...

MSEP ending at Disneyland on Sept 1, WDW return in 2023?

"Ses amis venus aujourd'hui" is what I think I hear - more or less meaning "Dear friends here tonight"

MSEP ending at Disneyland on Sept 1, WDW return in 2023?

HK actually has not run a single real parade since reopening. As far as MSEP the sky parade is way more likely. They don't want to pay to staff/maintain an extra parade if they don't have to and as mentioned before, operations does not want to deal with another parade with Happily Ever After.

Not quite as bad as the horrible 2 FPS Monstro from Fantasmic!

MSEP ending at Disneyland on Sept 1, WDW return in 2023?

There are some easy wins they could score in the meantime - I'm assuming there will be some kind of show when Communicore Hall opens eventually at Epcot? And maybe some update to Festival of Fantasy which is REALLY showing its age next to Magic Happens. Also there's the Little Mermaid at DHS...

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

Opening day Magic Kingdom began construction in May 1969 and opened October 1971. Cake Bake Shop began construction December 2022 and had to delete the "early" from its already multiple-times-delayed 2024 date. Wow. Anybody wanna ask Gwendolyn what's up?

News Soarin' Over California returning to EPCOT for a limited time

I absolutely adore the themes by Jerry Goldsmith, and Disney was right not to mess with them, but it feels like the visuals came first for Around the World. From there Bruce Broughton (excellent composer in his own right) had to cut and paste the themes with ethnically-appropriate instruments...

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

The three I heard were “Hi Neighbor” (ancient barbershop song), “My Girl” and “It’s All Right” which I know from Soul but apparently dates back to 1963. All arranged barbershop style, no beatboxing or other a cappella trimmings
