Maybe they're learning how much of a bad idea it was having a stage right against the hub? I know it's temporary but it says something that they're spending the time and money to install a temp stage like 150ft away from the permanent stage.

Looks like the problem is fixed! Great job everyone! 🙃 ...I wonder if it's sealed into the ground or just a temp replacement...one of those would tell if there's a chance of the lighting being repaired.

They were plates that could be lifted up I believe. They weren't actually concreted into the ground. They had a hollow feeling when you walked over them.

I don't think they want to dig up anything in the middle due to the issues they ran into during construction of the area. Well maybe if they do eventually dig the middle again, they won't hit the same utility multiple times. And just to add to the article it was a few hours into their debut...

So by that point, DHS wouldn't have had an increase in attractions after...15 years? After all the money they spent, I somehow spend less time in this park then I did 20 years ago. I don't even know how that's possible.

I forget when but it was mentioned somewhere here when exactly maintenance was purposefully moved to deferred status. It was only in poor condition because management stopped caring about it.

I don't know why that even had any traction. There's videos of them moving it with full towing because it can't steer. It's well covered it can't do anything but move along a track. I assume there's no future for the Belle after this then?

Considering the SFX coaster basically bankrupted them and the whole company was sold off last year, I wonder if Disney could've bought the patents for the ride design.

The way they described this was a "test experience" not a "ride system test". It's literally just people manually driving ATVs (or whatever they're called) on a dirt track to get a feel of what the ride could feel like. Unless the ride will have a person driving each vehicle, this isn't a ride...

DHS needs more things to actually do, not replacements. If whatever they have planned doesn't +1 the attraction list, it's a crap move.

It makes sense to announce the Brazil pavilion for WS but then again, I don't think anyone's heard any updates about that one coming back. Though everything I heard it was pretty much completed so it wouldn't take "much" to break ground (for real this time).

TDO definitely operates that way for sure, regardless of how large the fanbase is. I just know from being out in DL, there was a huge contrast in how everything felt.

Because they can get away with the minimum and still attract guests. Why build a full land when you can retheme or replace something when none of the regular guests will care? The DL locals have pride in their park and are the majority guest so things are handled very differently out there. WDW...

I was going to say the exact same thing. If I'm spending that kind of money, I'll walk 2 minutes down the boardwalk and go to the Flying Fish instead. This place is outclassed and outvalued and it hasn't even opened yet.
