News New Indian restaurant eet by Maneet Chauhan coming to Disney Springs later this year

I fear you may be right. When Disney opens a restaurant that’s not really tailored for the typical American palate, it tends to get dumbed down pretty quickly. I’ve eaten at Maneet Chauhan’s Ale & Masala House in Nashville &it was spectacular. The menu for Eet has a few of her signatures on...

Join Chef Morimoto at Disney Springs for unique culinary experiences including a seven-course meal prepared by the Iron Chef himself

Just came back to say that party of two availability has been added. Purchased my tickets this morning. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but my husband is. I mainly go for the food.

Join Chef Morimoto at Disney Springs for unique culinary experiences including a seven-course meal prepared by the Iron Chef himself

Tried to buy tickets for 12 Beers of Christmas today & the ticket portal said that parties of 2 were sold out for both seatings. If you wanted to buy 3 or more tickets - no problem. I’m hoping there’s just a glitch in the ticket system at the moment.

    Where to watch football?

The Florida Georgia game is always on CBS. Just confirmed via google. Most places will have that game on. If you can get a seat at the bar at the Boathouse, they generally have 3 screens with 3 different games on.

    Male Cast Member Costumes

I had some sorority sisters when I was an undergrad at UF that worked at WDW as characters. Two of them were my height - around 5ft.; 1 was a “friend of Mickey Mouse” &!another one we’re “friends of Chip & Dale”. Another sister was around 5’9”- 5’10”; I think she was a “friend of Goofy”...

Best time for dinner at California Grill?

If it's like it was in the past, you usually couldn't get upstairs until close to the reservation time unless there's room in the lounge. You have to check in on the 4th floor, then be taken up in one of the dedicated elevators. During fireworks, the lounge is usually packed.

Favorite brunch on or off property???

The Boathouse has a good brunch & I believe offers the lunch menu at the same time. Ragland Road's weekend brunch is also good. Offsite - SoCo in Thornton Park is great as is RusTeak. (They are around the corner from each other. Downtown, near Lake Eola.) I've eaten at Maxine's on Shine &...

News EPCOT International Festival of the Arts 2022

No pass holder entry? That’s ridiculous and it wouldn’t work anyway. If someone wants to buy a bunch of these stupid popcorn buckets, they’ll have no problem shelling out for a day ticket.

    Seaworld Howl-O-Scream

Thank you for the answers! We’re staying at the Renaissance across the street, so no worries about parking. Also bought the front of h TV e line pass. I learned my lesson a long time ago with HHN.

Disney Genie, Genie+, and Lightning Lane Frequently Asked Questions for Walt Disney World

Will Genie+ & LL be included with a Club 33 membership? (No I'm not a member, but I know someone who is. She's invited to take my husband & I with her one day to get the "Club 33" Disney experience.) I know that if one can afford the Club 33 initiation fee & annual dues, the price of Genie+ &...

    Seaworld Howl-O-Scream

My husband & I have tickets for HOS next Sunday night. Can anyone confirm that we can enter SeaWorld using our Annual Passes mid afternoon & stay to do HOS or will we have to exit and re-enter through the event entrance. We used to go to HHN years ago & were always able to do that.

What would it take for you to NOT go back?

My husband & I are both from Florida & we grew up going to the parks. My first visit was when I was 3 in 1974. After we got married, we bought a 4 day Florida Disney pass that we ended up upgrading to an annual pass. We renewed each year for more than 20 years. Even before Covid, we were...

News Walt Disney World to End Temperature Checks

I was at Seaworld yesterday. Temp screenings had been eliminated & a bunch of signage in the park had been updated to “remain 3 ft. in between guests”. Masks still required.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

I work for the UF College of Medicine & got both of my doses on Saturdays. I know they were running the vaccinations 7 days a week at some point, but we aren't getting the same vaccine supply as we were in December / January.

    RUMOR: goodbye Tables in Wonderland

We've had the TIW card for years. We always got our money's worth out of it even with the rising costs in the TS places. (My husband likes nice wine & thought nothing of picking out a $100+ bottle to go with dinner.) The special Disney Dining events are what I miss. We used to do at least...

    Contemporary Hotel

I agree with most everything that has already been said. The only thing I have to add is that if you like to sleep in & you are in the main tower, request to be on the opposite end from Chef Mickey's. The sound from the monorail never bothered me, but the music & noise from Chef Mickey's drove...

    Wait times

My husband & I were at AK this past Saturday - Dec. 5. Even though it was stated that the park was at capacity, it didn't seem that crowded. We got in line for the Safari which had a posted wait time of 40 minutes. We were stepping onto the ride truck approx. 11 minutes later. The line...

    Snoring Strategy for Hotel/Room Booking

My husband snored for years & I always had a terrible time sleeping. Doesn’t help that I’m an incredibly light sleeper. He had a triple bypass in 2007. When he was in the hospital, the nurses mentioned that he probably had sleep apenea & should probably have a sleep study done after he...
