I more meant unique as he is currently the only male face character at a character meal. For female face characters, you have CRT, Akershus, and Storybook Dining. Aladdin is the one and only male face character currently available. Back ups should be in place.

I do think the food looks good and it’s been getting good reviews. 1900 Park Fare used to offer unique characters that you couldn’t meet elsewhere or would be difficult to meet elsewhere. Now it just feels like a standard character meal. It’s not something I would necessarily prioritize.

Yeah I just feel bad for kids looking forward to meeting a somewhat unique character only to have him replaced with a character that is relatively easy to meet. Especially on day 3 when people are all hyped up for the grand opening. You would think they would have backups in place.

Mammoth Club has a review up on YouTube from day 3 and Aladdin wasn’t there. Snow White filled in 🤦🏻‍♀️

Allears has a YouTube video up reviewing both breakfast & dinner. The food actually looks great. Too bad the characters weren’t more interesting. Even having Asha in place of Cinderella would be nice.

I guess I’m in the minority but I actually loved Wish. Great characters, great songs, I loved the Easter eggs and all the characters in the credits. I thought it was a great way to celebrate 100 years. A Wish themed character meal would have been so cool.

Serious question, not trying to be rude or snarky. For people who are saying if they are denied DAS they will not go anymore, why not just purchase Genie+ and ILL? Wouldn’t that be a better solution than just choosing not to go?

I recently heard of a family using DAS for their party of 6 because one adult has diabetes. I’m not even sure how that affects their ability to wait in line. But hopefully this change is for the better and reserved for people who truly need it.

Just want to clarify- if a guest is traveling next week and already has DAS in place, nothing changes for them, correct?

You can definitely pay the difference to upgrade! The promotion is by room so you can book free dining for one room and a different promotion for another room, if that’s what you’re asking.
