We go every year late Jan. last year was rather chilly and damp, but it still beat the weather up north. Crowds are very low, but Kali and Splash are usually closed. (if they only do the short refurb this year I may be able to hit splash on it's first day reopened as we are there Jan 22nd- Feb 1st)

This year split staying BLT/BCV--arriving late Thurs so parks will be closed, but I am hoping to spend time sitting on my balcony admiring my MK view and not fighting with the front desk about our Magicbands not opening the door. ;)

1 here-- feels like -19. My flight to Orlando on Jan 23rd can't come soon enough!

Disappointing. We have gone in Jan every year for the past 11 years and it has been open twice.

1st trip-- daughter was 3 and at AK wanted to go on primeval whirl. I told her she was not tall enough and tried to distract her with the dig site, but I could see in her eyes it was coming. I told her if she started I would take her back to the room and she would not get to see the parade...

Finally got through! Thanks for keeping me company while I waited--sending Pixie Dust to everyone who hasn't gotten through yet....

The worst is when you get a ringing phone--only to hear the pre-recorded "we're sorry. all lines are busy." I think I'm going to hearing busy signals in my head the rest of the day. 41 minutes and still dialing....
