I wonder how much experience the pink pilot had? They only mentioned that purple pilot had less than 1 year. Anybody know?

I don't know if we will ever find that out. We might only be able to speculate about it.

Check out the backup (reverse) cameras on the Mark VII monorails: http://www.monorails.org/tMspages/MarkVII2.html They even have cameras in all the cars, so they can see whats going on there.

Maybe a cheap backup camera in each monorail might have prevented this accident. Of course the pilot has to look at it when reversing. I have one of these things on my car, so I know they are not that expensive.
