Avengers Campus: Food, Entertainment, M&G, Environment Updates

Holy hell, that VO work absolutely stinks. What were they thinking?

    AI is coming to WDI?

Respectfully disagree. Right now studios are trying to figure out ways to incorporate AI into voice acting, writing, and various production/post work. You’re correct in that AI won’t totally replace a human workforce, but there’s a possible future where a lot of people will lose work to it.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

No disrespect, but this kind of response is the problem. You made a big deal a few weeks ago about how transparency from insiders (or “insiders”) is vital, and here you’re doing the complete opposite. Having legitimate information is totally different from just guessing based on trends. The fact...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Just for clarification’s sake — these are all just wild guesses, correct? Your recent post about not being an insider/taking shots in the dark makes the point of posts like these a little confusing.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

These “list” shirts are so weird to me. The actual lists are always oddly arbitrary (Astro Orbiter made the cut over…everything else? Really?) but also the titling itself is inconsistent, using attraction names in some places but not in others — “Hollywood Tower Hotel” and “Tree of Life” jumped...

Walt Disney – A Magical Life

If you look at ticket books from the ‘70s and earlier, a lot of them have the nickname front and center.

    "Step In Time" Script Project

Hi, everyone! In 2020, I wrote a 13-episode animated comedy series called Step In Time, starring Figment, Sonny Eclipse & Buzzy as time travelers exploring the history of Walt Disney World. I am currently in the process of writing a 10-episode (1 a month) 2nd season. This sequel is about the...

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event—Coming to Anaheim Next August

Apparently there’s been a massive leak of information from Disney’s internal Slack. A lot of information is going to be out there soon.

    Where's Darkbeer1?

He was a great source of information here, and seemed like a genuinely good soul. Rest in peace.

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

Some of you need to learn what “cringe” means. I’m not a big fan of screens but I think the Tiana/Louis thing is cute.

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

I will never understand the decision by Disney to try to quell uncertainty and negativity by releasing a POV from a high-quality camera that’s fixed to the log in one position. Just give someone a phone! As far as the ride, I like the lighting and I love the animatronics. I just don’t know...

News Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - Historical Construction/Impressions

Absolutely unbelievable and I totally believe it. This weird push for improvised mythmaking and dinner theater-tier interactions has basically supplanted the need for any actual unique stories. I’m not opposed to WDI coming up with random lore for gift shops, etc. but it cheapens all of that to...

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

This looks very good! Truly impressive animatronics and the lighting looks cool, even considering it’s not full show lighting due to filming this segment. I’m most surprised by how they’ve seemingly taken good advantage of the epilogue area after the big finale.

The section that was formerly the “Laughin’ Place” sequence — there’s a drop into that section that then coasts for a second before a small second dip. The laser/mist effect is during that coasting section.

    DisneylandForward

If you want to be active on these forums, you really have to humble yourself and learn how things work. Logic, data, pragmatism, and historical context do not amount to “opinion.” It is simply foolish to think we will be getting anything resembling a 3rd gate within any timeframe relevant to the...

Disneyland Fantasmic Dragon Engulfed in Flames

Considering how cramped things will be for general viewing with all of the walls up in NOS/Critter Country, I’m curious how all of this shakes out. I plan on being there opening night but I wouldn’t recommend spending money on any dining package until the early show kinks are worked out.

I deleted my other post because it felt like I was generalizing too much, but yeah. It just feels like we’re going in circles. Lion King in Paris is at least exciting because it hasn’t been done at any park yet outside of stage shows.

This may be a new best in animatronics. I’m legitimately stumped to think of anything more impressive aside from the Shaman figure.

New Tomorrowland @ Disneyland? Is this the year it finally gets announced? No, and that’s OK

Wow, that’s really cool! So they were going to use EPCOT music in the TL2055 loop. I see that they were also going to use music from Carousel of Progress in the loop, which I also definitely heard. Very neat little time capsule, thank you for the info!
